Aw whaaaat, Akari Kaida did the Coliseum arrangement? I was still holding out hope that there would be a MegaMan Battle Network song in there. Now I'm very bummed out.
 
It's weird how I couldn't win with my trusty Pikachu on the 3DS version yet would win most of my games with Zelda, Lucina, Peach, Jigglypuff, Kirby, Mr. Game & Watch but now on Wii U I'm having success with my Pikachu but having a tough time with Zelda. I'll hold out judgement for when I get to play with a GC controller instead of GamePad (I often do Din's Fire instead of Farore's Wind by mistake), but was she nerfed recently?
 
Haven't had much GAF time this weekend, have I missed anything particularly noteworthy over the last 40 pages or so?

I wonder when people will get to datamining Smash Wii U...

Fighting Rosalina, her air dodges feel much more frustrating to fight against. Is the animation really just a placebo? I was playing Falcon and trying all sorts of timings for my Bairs and Uairs with no success. I could only hit her in the air off an initial dash attack or Dthrow hitstun.

That said, Sonic, Mega Man, Duck Hunt Dog, and Bowser Jr. are probably as fun as taking a scalpel to your genitals when it comes to fighting them. They're so annoying and boring.

Haha, yeah, Bowser Jr is super weird; his Up B is deceptively useful. And for sure, I'm down to play whenever!

Wait, you can't do this? I assumed it was possible because my friend asked me if we could play online later and I told him I don't see why not. So it's not possible to have a friend be with you locally and go online like you can in MK8?

You can locally, I'm talking about teaming up with a friend online (not with me).
 
Why do I suck so much in the wii u version, on 3ds for glory I have 70% win rate, wii u however is more like 25%. Are the versions really that different or are the players just better on wii u. Also my nnid is Scaggsalicious if anyone's up for 1v1s later tonight.

Maybe you just haven't played a good Mega Man yet? I feel like I turned a corner and hit a new plateau with my Mega Man game this weekend, so maybe we can play sometime... and hopefully it won't be boring for you. ;)

I haven't played my wii u extensively in years. Despite Mario kart etc. I played smash all day yesterday and most of today with a buddy and my son. It is the first time in years I have sat and just enjoyed a game for a whole weekend. The game is amazing. So happy I picked it up.
 
I played Smash Tour earlier today and I was legitimately unsure of what was even happening for half the game. But it seems like a kind of interesting idea, so I'll probably mess around with it some more later on.
