They should have given him a crow mask with hair like kane.
This looked really, really good.

At this point he'd look better with a shaved head. He hasn't lost the look of intensity in his eyes, but man that hair is hideous.
Guess that's the mania match.
I think I may have done a slightly better version:

Because vince never made that ad.They've already done a high-quality remix. I don't know why it wasn't used.

JBL said sting was a 2 time NWA champ.
He won that 2nd NWA title in the early years of TNA.
TNA EXISTS! kinda.
Sting's debut was very sub-par to what it would have been. It suppose to be an incredible debut for a man like that but with no baseball bat, bland music (even Sting debut'ng with his TNA's music would have been off the hook), no build up, and no intense situation make it seem like they should have pulled the debut out of Survivor series and left it for RAW or Royal Rumble. Very disappointed and I blame WWE thoroughly for this.
Sting IS BACK. I wonder who else can come back.
"It's Sting! And suddenly he cares about the power structure in the WWE and is very concerned about the flagrant rulebreaking going on in one specific pay-per-view!"
Because vince never made that ad.
Notice that wrestling content is better when he doesn't have his hands on it?

He also said HE'S MAKING AN IMPACT! God, I howled with laughter.
Yes.. I'm tired after watching this survivor seriesYou mean Sting has arrived rather than come back.
You're trying to tell me 2K went out of pocket on that theme/ad?

The WWE has no idea how to get intensity or spectacle across in its product anymore. You should've expected it.
Weird thing is, they had his hair looking right at Comic Con

I guess they booked this so close to the wire they forgot/didn't have time to do him up
Way to be super selective on what to complain about in a pro wrestling show where a lot of dumb things happen.
Fuck all that noise. Even though I knew it was probably coming, that moment was style hype as hell.
Also, even without the overbooking, that match was way better than it had any right being.
Seems to be what happened.Weird thing is, they had his hair looking right at Comic Con

For what it was...it worked. They needed a shock factor to get people to resub or not cancel out of their subscription. It's no different from bork beating the streak/bryan winning the titles at wrestlemania or brock squashing cena at summerslam around the time the commitment was over.
Desperation is a killer. Like I said earlier, this ppv was pretty much a f2p game.
Don't worry, I am always 50/50 for when it comes to the WWE and the delivery of their product. Frankly, I'd have to say that the episode of RAW that aired two weeks ago was better than this Survivor Series. So considering this, I'm not surprised they messed up Sting's debut... it could have been the biggest pop and debut ever but... they killed it.
I hope WWE is reading this and many other post that are similar to mine because they need to understand how poor they have done.

My second favorite thing that happened in the ppv. XD[/QUOTE]
I take it you don't get out much?
Except he performed in front of 6 peopleSting's return was nice and all, but Fandago is who I really was excited for.

Well honestly I'm not sure the pop would've been any better because WWE has had mostly awful crowds recently. They could've presented it better though, sure, but I feel like way about most of their stuff these days. It's just a sterile show all around.

With the current people in charge of WWE, his debut went about as well as it could have.
Sorry wrong answerSting needs to ask kane for that wig he was using.
They could have had cena destroy him. With the current people in charge of WWE, his debut went about as well as it could have.
Nash is still in movies.Sting's appearance was just 5, maybe 10 years too late to get a serious pop from the WWE Universe audience. It would have been like seeing Terry Funk come out in the late 90s/early00s. Just some guy you heard about but never really cared enough for. The reaction was a lot more mild than I expected. Diesel's token appearances at RR a few years back got much louder pops.
