Makai and I seemed to have lag even though we were geographically close using double wired. It was good with some random For Glory person though. Although, For Glory sometimes apparently matches me as east coast against California people. :|

HOLY CRAP GAF I DID THE 8 KO'S IN CRUEL SMASH WITH LUCINA WITHOUT CHEESING!!!

I did too...

I opened with aerial neutral which would push two opponents off the ground then trying to play space games with some mii (sometime they can be smart) I managed to put out some counter, grabs, smash and dash attacks and got myself 10 Cruel KO.

I'm done with Cruel KO.

I've been playing wirelessly and my online matches have been mostly lag-free and amazingly smooth. Color me impressed; Smash Wii U's online not only improves upon Brawl's and Smash 3DS's, but blows them out of the water.

Online has been pretty great for me. Heck, I played more For Fun matches than For Glory in this version lol.

You just got to have a decent latency and remove bandwidth-hogging activities while playing.

Anyone want to play? I'm up for any stages. I'm mostly going to pick neutral ones, but if anyone wants to try stuff out, let's do it! Omega stages are perfectly fine too.

NNID is Cranzor.

Two Palutena's using Heavenly Light in Trophy Rush might be a good way to farm stuff, but I have a hard time controlling two at once lol.

My online experience has been almost flawless. I've played at least fifty 4P matches and only had a couple hiccups and one match with input delay.

I'm using Wi-Fi and budget internet.

Okay fine. The netcodes fine, I hate the fact it doesnt tell you your opponents internet speed before the match so I dont play a 1 bar.

I have a 10mbits connection and have been in a number of flawless 1 on 1 and 4 player matches. Get an ethernet adapter, it helps a lot.

Finally got my Wii U version today. The presentation is sooooooo much better than the 3ds version, it's lovely.

Shout out to making switching between Monado Arts a bit more clear. You could tell by the auras on 3DS but the symbols are easier to glance at.

And likewise, I use wifi and every four-player match out of 60 except maybe two has been perfect.

It just comes down to luck. Unless your wifi is essentially broken, the Ethernet adapter is a waste of money. But by all means, please, everyone else in the world, use one. :D

Disappointed with the stage builder. Maybe I need time to get used to it but it feels very limited, even compared to Brawl's.

Loving the crap out the custom Mii fighters though.

I was hoping for another opportunity to use my Diddy and Mac, but anyways ggs man, you are amazing! I see you are a sword fighter! Haha

Good games, man and thanks, you were great too! Despite the lag in some of them, they were really fun! Your Diddy and ROB gave me the most trouble I think; I don't have a lot of experience fighting either of them. And yeah, most of my mains/subs are swordfighters (I guess Greninja KINDA counts...) lol. I was hoping to use Shulk later, but got stuff to do now. Let's play again sometime!

Hmm, if I am bored enough I'll build a matchmaking-style website this weekend exclusive for this game. I kinda want some more serious rankings and I don't like EventHubs or GameBattles way of doing it.

Is anyone else unable to play online? I keep getting 101-0502 errors. I thought it was my WiFi connection so I purchased a LAN adapter but the issue persists. I can play other games just fine and connect to the eShop. This issue is only appearing in Smash.

For sure, that was a lot of fun! Yes, I played with some of the not so used guys haha. However, I think my Diddy is my best, working on Mac and Rob as well. Mac recovery is awful, but I like a challenge haha. I played at of Olimar in brawl, unfortunately he's nerfed but I still like the guy!

Your shulk is beast, gave me the most trouble AND fun lol. Ike was a big surprise, loved how you used him

I think my Amiibo is an idiot savant. He was wiping the floor with me doing some short hop fair combos, and had me at over 100% to his 0% and was about to take a stock advantage on me. Then he ran away and took three fully charged Aura Spheres to the face in a row without attempting to dodge any of them and died.

He's level 50.

I feel like a bad parent.

Has anyone had trouble getting a LAN adapter to work on a new Wii U? Do I need to update the firmware over wi-fi first and then try to switch to a wired connection?

This is the adapter I bought: www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-usb-2-0-to-ethernet-adapter-white/6233049.p?id=1219198831100&skuId=6233049

I have tried 2 different 3rd party adaptors and neither worked. I think the Wii U is just very picky with which adapters work. Trouble is I'm in Singapore so I can't find the black Plugable one that definitely works.
