Do you guys think Villager would be a good counter to Diddy? I'm thinking that if Villager pockets the banana then that would remove one of Diddy's tools for a decent amount of time. If Villager takes out the banana and pockets it again then it would reset the timer. But I'm not sure if Villager's moveset would hold up against the rest of what Diddy can do.

I wasn't a believer in Megaman until recently, but if you want to zone someone out, no one does it better. It honestly depends on your playstyle. If you're not willing to camp people out with Villagers fair and bair for six minutes, it's probably not going to work for you.

Yeah Villager isnt for me. Still maining marth, but I'm not sure why, because Marth keeps getting hellishly nerfed.

It works. I use it as a screen with Pro controller in hand whenever somebody is using the TV.

In the home menu, you can turn off the Gamepad display if you're not using it.

Though you can't get back to the game with just a cube controller as it doesn't work in the home menu, since a touch of a button wakes the screen back up... I guess maybeif you also have a pro controller you can then exit out?
There really needed to be a screen power button on the controller.

Regular 4 player smash is actually fun in this version. It's not perfect and has some minor lag now and again, but it's soooo much better than the 3ds version. It's pretty playable and I'm enjoying myself.

Yes you can. That's the way I play because my TV delays for some reason.
