My Wii U console is in America but now I'm living in Italy. I have a NA 3DS and I'll soon be getting a PAL N3DS because that's what I can buy here (and it also gives me eShop diversity). Of course Smash 3DS will be bought in my N3DS, since it has its advantages over the 3DS.

So when I come back, I'll end up with a NA Wii U with Smash, a PAL N3DS with Smash and a NA 3DS with a sad face.

Oh, is there yet another challenge to do it with ROB specifically? I figured he meant the one where you can do it with anyone.

Edit: Oop, just did it. Yeah, so the part of the bat that hits the sandbag is just as important as the amount of damage. I didn't just do fsmash attacks, also some running A and dsmash.

Maybe resources were spread thin? With the game released the team at Bandai Namco can now focus on patching and DLC.

Wow I actually did the "hit the sandbag between 1640 and 1656 feet" challenge on my third try. Did it with ROB so I knocked out two challenges! I just spammed side smash (no charging). It bounced around a bit so you might have to reposition yourself. I think it was at 104 or 107% when I smashed it with the bat from the middle of the platform.

Also a year long wait time for DLC isn't new. Pack 2 for Mario Kart 8 is coming out a year after release.

I'd use custom moves if the game didn't restrict them to select multiplayer modes. Honestly, I think the most disappointing thing about Smash 4 is that they failed to integrate the most interesting new feature across the entire experience.
