I don't usually get bothered by this kind of stuff, but the ground textures in Xrd are really blurry. It looks kinda weird.

Microsoft's idea of staying competitive is not making a single penny of profit in one game generation to nab mindshare.

Nintendo simply does not have the cash reserves to do that. Rather than price cuts and garish marketing, i'd prefer that cash be funneled toward game development and making sure their games aren't janky.

He's pretty much in there with Andre and Mike Wakefield in the pantheon of people of being completely unknown to people.
 
Wii U has more games I want to play now and in the future.
XBone only has 1 exclusive title I'm interested in in the future.

Give me the Wii U!

Microsoft is in panic mode trying to not lose marketshare with these price cut bundles. Their first party isn't strong, they can't afford to have third parties not shipping to their console at the same time as Sony. They have to look tempting when they're bargaining for timed-exclusives, third party exclusives and exclusive content.
 
WiiU is def the most valuable console, but it doesn't have a fighting game I want to play. Thinking about having it fund a PS4 purchase. I have less than two days to make a decision.

I'm not gonna lie, the game is fun to play but boring as hell to watch IMO. I'll keep on playing it but I don't know if I'll watch it competitively until people up their meta game for it.
 
Does he have a twitter account? People who get banned usually post news of that on their other online stuff when it happens.

Also I'm warming up to the English voices more. Still not sure what to think about Sol, it feels like he's kind of missing that laid back factor that Jouji (didn't know he's 60 years old 0.0) has.

Practicing some of that Ky tech now.

There is no replacement for Jouji Nakata.

still wondering if I should just order a Hrap 4 now or not, can't really play the demo with a pad.

Well, I saved the post and it is related to that. I spent ten minutes looking up games, for what is probably no good reason because I'm making sure I don't attempt cram in a dozen games at the end of the year as I tend to. Honestly, it's kind of me rambling, but for posterity's sake (lol):

Hmm... I've probably forgotten a game, but it's something like this, shooting from my hip:

1. Bayonetta 2
2. Earth Defense Force 2025
3. The Evil Within
4. Dark Souls II
5. Divinity: Original Sin
6. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
7.
8.
9. Mario Kart 8
10. Shovel Knight

I could see Divinity going before or switching places with the Evil Within. It's the only game on the list I haven't really played enough to say I've gave a full run through (since it's so huge and I haven't done co-op). It's really a matter of me getting over how dull the first few hours of it is, but it's an outstanding game anyway. Actually I could say something similar to Bayonetta (on last two witch trials, want to do more co-op), but it's overkill to even mention that fact at this point. I imagine if I played more games, Mario Kart and Shovel Knight would get the bump down into "runners-up", whereas the top six I can't see not being top 10 material.

Games I really think I need to play: Wolfenstein: The New Order, Far Cry 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Super Smash Bros for Wii U, Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, and UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late (don't see myself doing two fighter games, let alone three :/).

Maybe also: Sunset Overdrive, Titanfall, Alien: Isolation, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Killer is Dead: Nightmare Edition, and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

Can't play: Infamous: Second Son, Danganronpa (both).

Won't play (because waiting for PC port): Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (that's next year right?),

In truth the number of games (and the variety of genres) I've played this year is puny (but probably still at or above average for most)

Now I know that UNIEL is actually 2015 and PC version of Ground Zeroes is 2014.



Anyway, what the fuck is this about Retro_? First of all, what a bummer. Is this farewell? Second, I must reiterate: what the fuck? Weird shit. What did he do to deserve such an extreme punishment? Did he turn out to be Darren Wilson or something? Actually, I have to assume this is self-inflicted in someway. While I will praise him as definitely one of the more interesting posters on GAF, a clear step above the rest, it seems recently he fell off hard and just became totally mopey and bored about everything. A little frustrated with his attitude, I almost asked him why was he even on GAF; maybe he asked himself the same?

EDIT: Also there's got to be joke involving that fact his name Retro and now he is in the past.

EDIT: "Here is Retro_, now plain _".

Alright, this is too macabre even for me...

My copy of DBFC should be coming in soon. Time to practice for about 15 minutes and get good. Not sure if I'll stick with Akira or go with Selvaria.
