It's actually a lot easier than I was expecting, but that's because I've played so much Smash Run on the 3DS. The only trouble spot is the 4th Core because of the swarm of laser plants and Plasma Wisps, but going slow and taking each plant out one by one is the key.

The one knock on this amazing game is that you can't navigate the menus with touch controls.

This blew my mind a bit when I noticed it. Doesn't make any sense that you can't. All the big ass buttons and sliders everywhere make are perfect for it.

Hey should I make a CD factory with stage builder? Can it even be done and are CDs still found the same way?
I tried with Sandbags to no success, I think mew is the only way to get CDs in regular Smash
Mew, eh? So maybe do a 20-minute Time Smash with Master Balls on High, and be ready to grab a CD whenever Mew appears?

Not true - I had friends over to play last weekend and CDs appeared out of thin air for us three times. It's exceedingly rare, but it does happen.

Can someone quickly clarify how the save file and the stats for online are handled between users? You know, does everyone's NNID share the same save file and also do you simply pick your name to go online once you're in the game and does everyone get their own online stats?

Nope, I actually found one in regular Smash, within the first minute. Just randomly fell on the ground, like Trophies and Equipment sometimes does.
I think it goes up slightly later in the week >.<

Yeah I'm moreso annoyed his sword reach doesnt do much for him nowadays. On that note though, tipping is a must.

Currently sitting at 121/140 challenges! I've managed to complete all the difficult ones (clearing Classic on 9.0 without losing a life, 8 KOs in Cruel Smash as Lucina, all Target Smash challenges, that stupid Metroid in Smash Tour, etc.) and hammered the tedious ones. All I have left is:
-Collection challenges (CDs, custom moves, trophies, and money. I hammered the one for getting headgear just like I did in the 3DS version, and I somehow got all the custom outfits legitimately already).
-A couple of easy Classic Mode challenges.
-All-Star challenges (I did the harder ones for this already, and I hammered the "complete All-Star on Hard with every character" because screw going through that again).
-Trophy Rush challenges.
-The view every Final Smash challenge lol.
So yeah, it's simply a matter of time now. After that, all that'd be left for me to do in single-player is to collect the remaining trophies.

I'm surprised at my progress with the Challenge Board. I've done one more challenge since that picture, bringing my total up to 97 out of 140. All the challenges that I haven't done yet up to the upper four rows, are either All-Star or (ugh) Smash Tour related. (And then there's one where I have to beat that Kirby healing item event on hard, which annoys the shit out of me.) I'm hoping to do the All-Star ones in the next two days.
Anyway, pfffft, the upper four rows are absolute madness. How the hell am I supposed to do some of them!? 20 Crazy Hand challenges with Mario!? (Doable if not for the super tight 10 minute time limit.) 9.0 Classic Mode WITHOUT DYING ONCE!? Fucking madness.
That said, I have not looked into equipment AT ALL, and apparently they make some of the seemingly impossible ones a bit doable. I hope I can clear them all, because five golden hammers suddenly don't seem enough.
How are the rest of you doing with the Challenge Board? I saw someone yesterday who had done 120 already!
Oh, and a few more questions! Be a bro, plz
- Is there a list of which challenges can't be hammered?
- Is there a way to farm gold? I farmed gold in the 3DS version by abusing an exploit where you could sell the same piece of equipment over and over again, but I reckon that's not in the Wii U version? Anyway, I'm gonna need LOTS of gold if I want to have enough continues to try Crazy Orders often enough :/
- How many trophies are there in total? And are there some trophies that have special unlock requirements outside of the challenge board, trophy rush and the shop?
- Is there a way to farm cd's, equipment and custom move, similar to Brawl's cd factory?

So my BFF sort of flaked out on buying the game and a group of "old Smash friends" don't seem to want to add me (or haven't gotten around to it and I really don't want to pester). And I'd be lying if I said playing the game wasn't just a bit lonely for it.
Any of you all wanna shoot a friend code/name??? Sorry if this sounds stupid, silly, or desperate --- I'd just rather play real people and GAF people are decent company.
