It doesn't extend to the top of the screen any more but it is still useful. It now brings enemies down to pikachu, which gives him more combo options.

So when you go online you don't pick your name but it automatically selects the NNID?
OK that's cool as long as every NNID shares he exact same file down to the recorded stats of local multiplayer for each name. Is that the case?

I just want to make sure that we all have the same file including all stats (offline) and unlocks because there's three of us who want to play online. In Mario Kart for example we all had to unlock karts and characters individually and when playing multiplayer have to choose a file to decide who gets to keep the coins.

Some of the Events give you Trophies (you see an icon on the Event Map), however, they don't seem to be unique. I got the Daybreak for beating the Kid Icarus Event where you gotta assemble it, yet I had already gotten it as a random drop.

Yeah, no hammers, most I need left are grinding for collection stuff; only real challenge is Hard All Star for every character; most trouble will be this. 20 Crazy Orders with Mario is tough too, luck is needed.Holy shit, is that without the use of hammers?

I gave Marth 200 Attack, -100 defense which doubles his power, probably killed everyone in 3 solid hits, decimated all Master Core forms with dem tippers.

So dumb question, are With Anyone games hosted on a server, or they also P2P like With Friends is? The reason I ask is because I had never had a problem with With Anyone games, but then I started playing with a friend the other day and they were all lagfests. Then I enabled QoS on my router, putting my Wii U in highest priority and then everything was perfect!

I hate challenges that "cost" money (or passes) to attempt
They add even more stress.But, I see, equipment is key, then? What are the names of the equipment pieces you've used? And can equipment be used in EVERY mode?
I've done all the challenges in the 3DS version without using equipment (it just doesn't appeal to me) so I'm still very new to it all despite having clocked that game, LOL.

So I found a VERY easy way to cheese "The FINAL Final Battle"
Marth is suggested for his beautiful up B for free hits
Hang off the edge, drop, jump, up b back to ledge doing slight damage, repeat
3 suicided then i killed one, but i can confirm all 4 of the enemies have the ability to suicide if you leave them be, none are exempt from stupidity.
Edit: Wait, nothing for doing every event on hard? BOO THIS GAME

I used 2 Legendary Swords and a Silver, anything to get to 200. It's probably doable with no customs, but I was laughing during all core forms, especially Fortress. Just finished all the solo event matches. Overall, they did a much better job with events this time when compared to Brawl. Lots of creative non-battle events, interesting/funny battle scenarios, and some classic all-star battle royales for good measure. A good chunk of them were pretty challenging too. I especially liked the one where you had to prevent the Game & Watches from landing on Lylat Cruise. The only terrible one was "Kirby's Crazy Appetite." Whoever made that one should be fired. Out of a cannon.

I don't know. All of my amiibos' nicknames are the actual nicknames my friends and I have been calling the characters for years. Sammy, kirbs, and yosh. Nobody like peach so she never got a nickname. : p

Browsing through all of the trophies and stuff I've unlocked so far, and it seems like Namco just really doesn't ever feel like acknowledging Ms. Pac-Man. It makes sense when you consider that they didn't really have anything to do with the development of that game, but you'd think it would be given a little more dues since it was the most popular game in that whole franchise.
An alt really seemed like a no brainer. You mean there's no trophy of her either? Says Wiki:

I imported some custom movesets and equipment from the 3DS version. Auto-Healer equipment really helps.
I also used DK, who destroys the Miis in the second-to-last stage.

Maybe. There are other games that seem to be omitted from mention entirely for legal reasons.
Notice that the arcade version of Donkey Kong isn't really referenced in SSB (or by Nintendo much in general). Luigi's first listed appearance is his first actual appearance, the arcade version of Mario Bros. But Mario's first listed appearance is the NES version of Donkey Kong, which was released considerably later.
Also I was kind of surprised to see that there are distinct Famicom and NES category icons. Games not released in the US (Devil World) have a Famicom icon.

Good eye in the Famicom bit! I always took the appearances in the trophies as just examples and not indicative of their first roles, hence mainstay characters only listing the latest games and so on.
Wario's Final Smash trophy doesn't list any game appearances at all. I could have sworn it did in Brawl...
Where are the trophy cases? Can't seem to find them anywhere in the menus.
