With the lack of availability of the GameCube controller adapters in the US, I'm thinking about ordering one from Amazon UK. With the slowest shipping option (6-10 days), I can get it for $32. Any reason why there would be any compatibility issues over here?

Yeah. It's an incredibly slim chance, but a chance nonetheless. I'm pretty shocked ShopTo have not delivered. They usually do a consistently good job at getting games out for the day before. I probably would have just ordered from the eShop, had I known. :/

I read somewhere deliveries can be anywhere from 8am to 4pm so at this point chances aren't looking good (almost 3pm now )

Aye, for sure man. They never send tracking numbers though, AFAIK. It'll be here tomorrow - just means that I have to get up off my lazy arse and venture into town to collect it. I might pop into GAME and pick up an Amiibo whilst I'm at it though - so not all's bad.

Land really quickly (fast fall) then block as soon as you touch the ground. If you block too early you'll air dodge and get landing lag.
