I'm not bloody happy. Amazon has dispatched the game yet and I selected the on the day of release delivery option. Anyone else in the same boat?
What's that black Smash Bros box on the bottom right?Walked into the store, everything was Smash, Amiibo and Pokémon.

Well huh. My trophy count is at 369 and it's already slowed down to a crawl in Trophy Rush. Like, I'm only getting a new trophy every one in 3 times or so. Admittedly I only have like 11 Classic Trophies and 2 All Star, and I only just noticed the Alt trophies were exclusive to the shop, so I only have like 2 of those. And I still need to do like 60 of the Challenges. Still, wasn't expecting the slow down for a while longer, especially seeing a there's a challenge for 700 unique trophies.
Geez.
Pre-order thingy at GameMania holland; contains a dogtag with the Smash logo on itWhat's that black Smash Bros box on the bottom right?
Every Samus I have seen has the tilt. I expect that it is intended. It's not supposed to look like that though, right? I wouldn't buy an amiibo, but if I did and got one that was bent I'd request to get a new one (which you can by law of course).
Anyone down for some 1v1? I need celebrate thanksgiving with some Smash!
Sweet. I'll send you a friend request and start a room.Sure. My NNID is my GAF username.

I think you press Y or X
Awesome, thanks. I hadn't checked the Controls menu.I think that's press Y or + on the Controls options.
Haha, consider us even after my playing last night then.Man, I was playing terribly.
Good games Oric.
I'll probably be back on in like 20 minutes. If you're still needing some then, I'm down.Anyone up for FFAs?
(in the UK here), my game turned up today, just switched it on, patch downloading now. Anyone got any beginner tips, only ever played about 30mins of smash on the gamecube before.
I would try and play a match with a ton of different matches with different characters until you find that one that clicks with you; then, try and get the hang of the game by becoming at least somewhat familiar with them. At least for me, I like having at least one character I can fall back on as someone I understand in and out.Hi guys! So, I'm a complete Smash noob but I just couldn't resist the insane amount of content and fanservice. Any suggestions on good characters/characters to avoid?
Also, I've got my download code from Game.co.uk but I still can't redeem it. I get a message saying it's a DL code for a game that isn't out yet... probably should have preordered through the eShop, at least I'd be playing it today, as opposed to whenever the 17gb download finishes.

More importantly, though: have fun! You're in for a treat. And feel free to ask us questions anytime.
Oh man, analogue all the way. In fact, I don't think the Wii U one even lets you use the D-Pad.thank you. First question: i only have a gamepad so that will have to do...but do people prefer using d-pad or analogue? people usually prefer d-pad on fighters no?
Bring it on!This only means we need to have a long, long brutal rematch!![]()
Does this not have off screen play or can I just not figure out how to do it?

Haha, yeah, getting demolished is a good way to train. I've been playing Smash since the 64 days and some guys here wipe the floor with me. But, I always come out a little better. Thanks! Will do, great advice. I'll be sure to chime in once I get half decent so you guys can hand me my ass back. No better way to get good at something!
THE WAIT IS AGONISING
