Steam "Exploration Sale" -- i.e. Autumn Sale -- now live (November 26 - December 2)

For some reason, before I went to work this morning I could have sworn there was a bundle of Civ III, IV, and V, but I can't seem to find it except the one with Beyond Earth. Am I better off waiting?

I'm just getting Civ V on GAF advice, but I can say Civ IV Complete is quite possibly one of the best games I played in the last decade.

Also, is the current 75% off Civ V Complete Edition offer a daily? Any chance of a better daily discount at some point?

So Gunhound EX is pretty much free thanks to the cards. It's €3 on sale, drops 4 cards and they're selling for €0,50-€1 each. If you get four of the one worth €1, Steam actually paid you to take it!

I haven't actually installed the game yet but a free modern Cybernator can't be wrong.

Tried to buy Rome Total War 2 and Spintires but Steam didn't pop up my bank's page but now it says I have the games anyway. Can't play them though as it says the transaction hasn't been processed yet and I can't repurchase them cause it says I already have the games. :/

Check the game's community page to see if there are any tips to improving the visual output. I played the game pixelated but still had a blast. Would love to replay it with the sprites looking cleaner and clearer.

Well, shit. I already bought it and am installing as we speak, so we'll see how it goes. I remember when I played RAGE I had to mess around with config files to get it to run at a solid 60 FPS with very low pop-in. If the tweaking is something like that, then I'm willing to do it.

I played it on my i5 2500k/unlocked 6950 and it was great. Played at 1680x1050 with a mix of different medium/high settings so I could enjoy 60fps. Your system looks to be better setup than mine so you'll be fine.

I played it on easy and had a cracking great time with it.

Just go into your account page, click on STORE TRANSACTIONS, and you can cancel incomplete transactions.

Happened to me too just recently. It took 10 minutes for the order to process. Just wait a bit.

Thanks for the heads up.

Kind of undecided on Civ V Complete and Bioshock: Infinite. I loved Civ IV but everything I read and watched about V kind of felt too different.. As for Bioshock: Infinite, I played the first 2 on 360 so I want to get it for that - but GAF, let me know, how is the B:I framerate on the 360?

In this case different is better. Civ V complete is pretty much the ultimate Civ game.

Get it from Greenmangamings VIP page. The cheapest you will get it for now.

God damn I hate this region bs. 3 games on the flash sales i can't even see cos I'm in Japan. Maybe I can get my brother back home to log in onto my account on GMG/Steam and buy me some stuff.

But then again maybe I shouldn't buy wolfenstein right now since I don't have a PC that can run it with me.

...but then again it's like $16

IDK

If someone needs a copy of the GameMaker: Studio Mac OS X DLC, send me a PM, maybe you have something in your inventory that's on my wishlist and I can't get here.

monday will be the last day of having dailies, correct? since the sale ends at store update time on tuesday..

will sunday be the last 2 day feature and then monday the last daily feature?

sorry if discussed previously...

Get it now so when you do have a PC that can run it, you won't be waiting for it to go on sale again to play it :V

It's pretty stale but at least you're not playing the Vita version.

Kicking myself on The Evil Within. Got sucked into the NeoGaf hype and bought on release.
Never buy PC games day 1, especially on a whim and within a month of black Friday. Dumb.
Still sitting on GMG credit, I'll probably never use.

Make that never buy games day 1 if you're money conscious and you've got that right.

Being part of the release hype and actually getting games on day 1, when they're most expensive and least polished, is for suckers, gaming journalists and rich people.

There's a new GMG voucher, PAYPAL-XGMG25-OFFBFF, that will make games sliiiightly cheaper than the VIP deals (Wolf £8.92 vs £9.40 - wow!). Can't be combined with credit though.
