I agree Serkis character by the end of his lines sounds like he's possibly non human, or at the very least very very messed up. It does not sound like the kind of voice that would come from a normally healthy looking human being.
You sure seem to know a lot about the plot of this film

Boyega helping the Falcon? Perhaps this takes place right before Boyega gets shot down by another Stormtrooper and leads to the scene in the beginning of the trailer.

I doubt it. It's not snowy enough. Probably a new planet. I've seen some people suggest that its a snowy part of Endor, but I'm not sure.

One more interesting thing to note about Serkis voice over is listen how much he struggles / labors to say Dark Side. It sounds like a unique vocal inflection that may have something to do with the character. I know Serkis puts a TON of thought into how and why his characters sound the way they do.

I could see this. Would explain the start of the teaser but does the other TIE get away or do they both go down?

Hard to tell since there's no smoke from another TIE ala Uncharted 3 plane scene. I'm guessing that the Falcon will get away, Boyega will be shot down, and the audience will have to wonder if he survived or not (obviously does), but we'll be away from him for a scene or two and have the movie focus on Daisy for a bit. Then after awhile there will be that long shot of the desert and BOOM, we find out Boyega is alive like the beginning of the trailer.

you can see the Falcon parked in the village that Daisy Ridley is speeding towards. Don't know if that is before or after tie battle

I think the "hilt" is actually two side ports that are related to the length of the lightsaber (it's enormous).

Lucas made even more changes to those before they were released on Blu-Ray. Probably the most disliked change was Vader's quite contemplation while Luke is being killed by the Emperor being replaced with him saying "no... NOOOOOO". Pretty much just confirming that Lucas hates Star Wars fans and just wanted to piss them off one last time before selling to Disney.
I think we've found the chosen one.
That was great, really like the people's excitement.

As for the force thing, my guess is the force is hunting down those who use it; it turns out people aren't meant to "use" the force. Both the Siths and Jedis / any force users will be confronted by it.

The way they thought they'd reached peak "oh shit" when the saber fired off - and then the Falcon hits and they all simultaneously reach for the sky. Fucking beautiful.

There have been rumors for some time now that the OT - pre-Special Editions - are going to be released on Blu-ray in the foreseeable future. My thought is releasing them as part of the marketing push for Ep7 would make a lot of sense.
I'm not sure I believe you can ever tell who an imperial soldier of any sort is actually aiming at.

Step up from the Prequels. At least there is some hint of emotion. I would still prefer the action to very quick and frantic like in the OG trilogy.
Not really. I suspect that they just want to have some diversity from film to film, and IX will also have a different director, but he could've had contractual conflicts or just didn't want to do all three of them.
Switching directors was tradition for the OT.
