For Amiibos do I just beat the shit out of them to level up?
I thought they could go on missions and stuff by themselves and get me items?

game is really fun on line, tons of noobs so i can get wins now and then hooray! need to work on my grab skills.

what does the hardcore community make of this so far in comparison with melee? better/worse?

I think the vibe overall is much more positive than brawl. There is a lot to like smash4. You are always going to have the loyal melee/pm users that won't ever budge, but I think the overall feeling is it it's much more balanced and competitive in comparison to brawl

HungryBox is playing Smash 4 Competitively. Its something!

you shouldn't up-B so much, inferno. it gives me so many options, even if you hit me with it, since it takes you a fortnight to land.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out Robin. I think I really like the play style just trying to figure out how to use it.

So, today I bought a couple of amiibos, and I was playing free-for-all when the Wii U froze in the middle of the fight :(
Both amiibos were level 30+ but they reverted to level 1 because I haven't synchronized their data yet. Has this happened to anyone yet? My Wii U had never frozen before.

The overall reaction seems to be a lot more positive than Brawl. It's certainly not as competitive as Melee, but there doesn't seem to be any widespread desire to create a Project M type thing for SSB4 like there was with Brawl.

Does anyone here want to try a match with a fellow EU player? I want to see how my internet connection is (to see if it's the cause of the slight lag I've experienced). If you want to give it a test run, just message me so we can add each other! It'd be great if you yourself knew you had stable internet so it'll help me narrow down the list of suspects.
