Gematsu: Sony to hold Playstation Experience event in December

My personal bets for new game announcements next weekend:

TGA:
  • Horizon from GG (full unveil at PSX)
  • Gears of War reboot
  • Fallout 4 announced
  • Left for Dead 3 announced
  • Tales from Black Mesa (by Telltale) announced
  • GTA heists and single-player DLC announced
  • Cranky Kong announced as Smash DLC character
PS Experience:
  • Crash made by Cerny with small SCEJ team
  • Parappa the Rapper (SCEJ)
  • Devil May Cry sequel (due to the relative failure of the reboot it may be exclusive)
  • New Playstation-mascot game (brawler/kart racer/whatever) ft. Scorpion, Cloud, Crash and white-haired Dante
  • Gran Turismo 7
  • Sony Bend VR game
  • Jaffe announcement, despite denial, being a Ghost hunter game
  • MLB The Show (perhaps not in the conference though)
  • Ratchet re-reveal
  • Lots of indie games

MM and Quantic Dream VR games for Gamescom 2015.

FF7 remake will probably be announced after FFXV is out (2016)

    [*]New Playstation-mascot game (brawler/kart racer/whatever) ft. Scorpion, Cloud, Crash and white-haired Dante - Certainly in development (with the exception of those specific characters) but you won't see it for some time
    [*]Gran Turismo 7 - Good chance of happening; at this rate we'll get GT7 before Driveclub is added to PS+
    [*]Sony Bend VR game - Honestly I would not expect a lot of VR announcements
  • Jaffe announcement, despite denial, being a Ghost hunter game
  • MLB The Show (perhaps not in the conference though)
  • Ratchet re-reveal
  • Lots of indie games

With new details and/or gameplay of Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, The Order, No Man's Sky, Until Dawn, Tearaway, Mortal Kombat X, Batman: AK and possibly Rime and Persona 5, there's no way this event can disappoint me, even if no new games were announced.

Now, if there's at least one megaton this will be the best event of the year, and if Guerrilla announces their new game.....hnnnng.

For the opening keynote, I personally don't expect a lot to announce.
Maybe just say hi and some previews is enough.
 
Guys, what time is the keynote gonna be streamed? I'm assuming this is the one where the game announcements are gonna happen. I've been hearing 10 am, 1 pm, than 5 pm, someone pls tell me!

EDIT: I run the front door at a nightclub here in town & I'm down for comping drinks for industry people &/or getting GAFers drunk as hell for cheap.

MM, SSM, PD, QD, Bend... So many games that are yet to be shown
 
I wouldn't mind going out for drinks and eating some good food at a restaurant with some gaffers if the day ever arises. Maybe at E3 if me and my friend can get in...

I have a feeling thats what Scott Rhode meant when he said they will be showing things at PSX that they probably shouldn't show yet. Like they wont have much ammo left for new announcements at E3. At least I hope it has something to do with that and not because something is too early in development.

Yeah, if its early in development it would be risky cause it might be canned in the future.

If we were to get some sort of Persona 5 info I would cry, even if it was the same trailer with Winter 2015 or something.

I really want Persona stuff now, please!

Ubi has to show games they are going to put out 5 years from now
 
I think the hype for a remake off a FF7 is as crazy as saying that crisis core is a good game.
Really looking forward to te event , just thinking about watching some gameplay of Uncharted 4 has me hyped.

There's going to be hardly anything new. You'll get a bunch more info and footage of games we already know about (Uncharted, Bloodborne, The Order) and if you're lucky maybe something new from a first party studio.

That's it.
