hey mickey youre Belgium right? we should play im a bit if a noob and it sounds like youre learning too, we could get into some lag free matches, maybe i can steal back a few points you got from me in the sf4 original version days!

if youre keen lemme know your nintendo id thing. ill.... figure out how nintendo friends work then add it.

game is way more enjoyable than i expected, im almost considering buying an amiibo, apparently it helps expose the shit bits of your game really well

edit: my nnid is dogfish182 any other euro noobs want some battles add me

Another Belgian here! I'll add you. I'm ReddiTom on NNID for those who want to take on another Belgian novice. :)

So I've only played a few rounds of Smash Tour against the CPU but I think it will be a ton of fun when I play with friends. What's the reason behind the mixed reactions to the mode? It seems really solid to me.

for me, it was the simultaneous split screen for everything: mario party at least lets you go one at a time and really get what youre doing.

that said, after five rounds i was getting it and its a blast. it's just, initially, its pretty overwhelming and very fast pased

What are some general strategies against a Sonic that spams down b and finishes it off with an uair. I couldn't do anything and it was very annoying.

Sonic main at your service! <:
Just try your best to focus and predict what the sonic will do. The reason Sonic mains "spam" their sideB and downB is because it has a lot of follow up options, it's a great way to approach, and he can play mind games with the ability.
If the sonic in question comes out of his spin/charge dash with a Uair or a Fair and whiffs either one punish him with a Bair; as far as I know, you're at Sonic's mercy if he catches you with his spindash and follows up with a Fair or Uair so just block the initial spindash. If he comes out of a dash with a homing attack (this move looks like the spindsh, but it floats upwards before it strikes) just block it. If he only uses it (the spindash) to ram into you two times on the ground, he'll probably try to get you with his Ftilt/neutralA after the dash finishes; the only thing you can do is block this and stay focused. If he does a short slow spindash he's gonna ram into you and grab so just dodge backwards.

Hope this helps.

Edit: Btw, try side stepping his spindash or spin charge, he'll whiff and won't have a chance to anything if he doesn't follow it up with a homing attack.

GGs man! Your Ness and Luigi are a lot of fun to play against. We'll have to do it again soon.

Your Marth is always a nice challenge, and your Mario is no shouch either. For sure!

DodgeDusk, if you're still here, I'm going to go eat and do some other stuff. I'll add you though, maybe we can play some other time! Sorry if I kept you waiting, I didn't know how long Oric and I would play.

Thanks for the thoughts on the lukanas and the marfs. I'll check 'em both out to be sure.

Speaking of FE, I just unlocked the Conquest ablazed track. Was so psyched to see it. I hope Divine Decree is in here, that'd be too much.

Awesome! Thank you for the advice. I hope I remember that next time I run across one online. I don't see too many Sonics on For Glory.

If anyone has trouble collecting a good amount of coins, just go online into spectator mode and try to bet on people with a 0% win percentage.

I won 100,000 coins twice in the span of 20 minutes. Might be insane luck, but considering you can only bet 100 coins at a time it's a no brainer.

I'm still very salty they didn't include Corneria in the WiiU version. The modern version is cool but I don't like all the gimmicks.

I'm remaking it myself in the stage builder now.

Make Sonic play your game. If you try to attack him while he is coming at you or he is in the air, you will probably leave yourself open for punishment. Shield his spin attacks and don't try many risky moves. If you keep doing that then he'll try a different approach, and will probably try to be more aggressive. When he starts making mistakes, punish him.

Yeah, this is the correct answer. Don't play his stupid fucking games and make him approach in a different way. The thing about all his B dash moves is that they always have a warning sound (whirrrrrrrrrrrrrr), and two of them always have the same timing. Get used to shielding his bullshit and make him try something else.
