Dungeon Defenders 2 is hitting Steam early access on December 5th and they are teasing a Game Awards announcement. I assume its a console version of the game (or maybe Dungeon Defenders Eternity).

Dark Souls 2 is a great game and the lightning downgrad-aton is mostly an internet overreaction again. It totally deserves its nomination.

I don't see it that way. TGA has appropriate amount of hype, we will get awards and we will get some [but probably not mindblowing] reveals.

On the other hand, PSX is way overhyped because we have "insiders" who have riled up the crowd into pointless madness. Yes, we will get to see a lot of games at PSX, but hell, that show is made by a CONSOLE HOLDER on a 20th year anniversary of their 1st console. Of course it needs to be good.

I could see this being the case. I would love it to be true.

I hope they got a separate crew to do a full blown multiplayer component of some sort for this game. This game's universe is begging for a unique MP experience. Maybe a team sneak game type of sorts similar to Metal Gear Online with a team of invisible guys with no real weapons, and a visible crew with assault rifle. Toss in awesome future tech upgrades, character customization, etc and this would be a killer app next holiday season.

Better than nothing. Indies will get the shaft most likely but anything that helps bring gaming to the forefront is good IMO.

Also, they nominated Journey and Walking Dead in the main category in 2012. What the hell happened?
