The numerical ratings for megatons will be subjective.

Dragon's Dogma 2 would be a 9/10 for me (only one bigger would be something like Fallout 4) but for some it may only be a 7

And I know the details of two of the announcements, but the third was left blank for me with the emphasis that it is going to be a very considerable announcement.

I don't want to do the WorthyEdge thing but that's the outline of the three announcements I've heard without spoiling it for people. I am by no means an insider and never claim to be so I'm going on the trust of the people I talk to, and there has been a case before where I had my leg pulled (years ago World of Warcraft coming to consoles). So I'd take anything with a grain of salt. I won't PM people because I don't give information out that people give me in confidence (unless it's really fucked up and people deserve to know), but I think that's sufficiently vague enough to not really give anything away.

So that's all, you people are already on a runaway hype train so I'll leave you to it :P

1. Rachet and Clank game and Uncharted 4 and other announced unshown titles?
2. Wasn't Shenmue #1 on Adam Boyles list of most requested games for sony to bring back? Also Shenmue and Ryo Hazuki CONSISTENTLY win online polls, they even technically won a most wanted game in an official Playstation magazine poll that was supposed to be printed but there was an error I guess? Point is, it won.
3. Crash Bandicoot, The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy VII, and and Shenmue are the things most likely to make waves. Sony providing localizations for games like Yakuza0, Yakuza5, etc aren't unprecedented so if that turns up, I wouldn't be quite surprised, YES excited as all fuck but not surprised.
 
We have to keep in mind that Bish and the mods check for the believability of the claim and that the contact is solid, not necessarily checking for 100% evidence that it's true. Correct?


This guy coming over and posting that he knows something, then producing evidence that he indeed DOES know someone that would have the information does not imply that this person he knows actually spilled the beans to him.

Me knowing someone high up at, say, Microsoft, and being easily able to produce proof that I know this person does not imply that they ever told me anything!

I don't know, this whole "I only know one thing, but now that someone implied there were three, I'm jumping in again and saying there were FOUR" just screams fake to me. I guess we won't know unless he says something on twitter immensely more specific than all this vague stuff so far.

At the very least, hopefully this whole ordeal will have people stepping on the brakes of the train a bit :p

An FFVII Remake reveal or teaser (assuming Sony is helping fund it/exclusive) I just can't see having any kind of negative impact on XV's hype unless it looks significantly better or is scheduled to release before/around XV's release.
I would doubt either to be the case.

At the end of the day, no matter how amazing it could be, VII Remake is a game that a lot of people know in and out. They know how it begins, they know how it ends, & they know the major events in between. The original is almost 20 years old & its biggest spoiler became a meme.
XV is new, fresh, has a great dev team, & looks to change up the FF formula.

This thread is blowing my mind! Teases, hype, drama and insane expectations in a constant cycle that just culminated with the original golden child Edge being banned. This is officially the Citizen Kane of Neogaf threads.
