so do we learn who Toph's baby daddy(ies) are on Friday?

For as awesome as Toph was in the OG show.
Her entire family just sucks so much. Every single one.
Down to her shithead grandsons and fishface Opal.
I know they had to give her an actual character this season, but why did it have to be...that?
I would rather have more flashbacks with adult Sokka.I really do hope they don't pull something weird like Sokka is one of the parents. I feel like it'd be more likely that she got together with two dudes not from the first series.

I really love shorter hair Korra. Looks so much better in motion than I thought it would.
I mean, now that Korra has her mojo back, she can basically one shot Kuvira right? That's probably why they're delaying the next confrontation.
Unless Kuvira gets her deterrent in the form of nuclear spirit bomb.
Lin has never disappointed. You take it back.

I kinda wish they did this because it would also mean Aang cheated on Katara too. Incest might be a bit too much for Nick.imagine tenzin's disappointed son face when it turns out that aang was lin's father
and when he realizes that he dated her
Nice to hear about a new ATLA comic coming up.. titled Smoke & Shadow. Coming out September 2015 though.
We are getting some Fire Nation focus this time around, The Legend of Korra lacked that.

Nice to hear and the plot sounds interesting. Only issue is that it's so far away.hints at Azula's return
It's a rock.
I thought Lin was pretty badass in season one.
Then they made her completely stupid with the way she treated Mako in season two. And in season 3 she was #rekt by Su which was supposed to make her feel better. Or something.
Lin had clutch Avatar assists during the Probending Arena battle, and took down a war blimp by herself in like 15 seconds.
She had her popoffs, even though the story ignored them and just kept on trucking.
And I already got on you about the amon stuff bruh; I won't stand for this Amon slander on his day of all days, Amon Day.
To be clear, I'm not saying Lin sucked or anything. As I said, she's got style. But any accomplishment they made are essentially plot irrelevent.
True badassery I think needs to have a solid impact on the story. Otherwise, even if it's cool, it's just flash. It's something fun to look at, but nothing more. Nothing meaningful.

It's a show of strength, and moves the story forward. By all rights, Lin did save the airbenders, and in bad ass fashion by downing an entire war machine by herself in a few seconds.
She did that - they got away because of her. Just because they got captured down the road in a contrived manner doesn't take away from Lin's sacrifice.
Oh yeah her, have we heard about her in LoK?and i'd rather not have another pairing from the original series (Suki and Sokka) ruined lol

It does though, since it's not like they accomplished anything with the extra space of freedom given to them by Lin. If they had done something between that time, it'd be a different story.
Mere strength is an adolescent idea of what it means to be badass. Badassness is using strength to accomplish something difficult is badass. Lin's sacrifice was certainly noble, but it didn't produce any real change to the situation than if the equalists had captured the Airbenders from the offset.
Only by contrived circumstance did they get caught (we don't even know how), and Lin did save them from being caught in that instance, which is noteworthy in itself.
You can say her sacrifice was moot, but the act of her sacrifice in itself was badass, because for 1) she took down a flying automaton single handed and 2), she saved the airbenders from being captured that day.
Your argument is similar to saying that Sokka, Suki and Toph destroying the fire nation airship fleet by themselves wasn't badass because Ozai still could have torched the Earth Nation kingdom on his own. That act is badass in itself, and doesn't need to be validated by Aang defeating the fire lord (of which Sokka, Suki and Toph's actions had literally no bearing upon).

3) she knowingly sacrificed herself and her bending to protect Tenzin and the family. Just because it got reversed doesn't mean the act itself wasnt badass.Only by contrived circumstance did they get caught (we don't even know how), and Lin did save them from being caught in that instance, which is noteworthy in itself.

This is awful, in an amazing kind of way.
It's better than the real opening anyway.
