Because as mentioned many times before, if it doesn't reappear here, it never will.

This is what we all say every time Sony has a conference.

Honestly I do think it's a possibility, maybe 5% (I know I said 0 earlier). But E3 2015 seems more likely to me. Maybe I'm overestimating it, but TLG is just about as big of an announcement as Sony can make.

hahaha

As I kid I used to be so excited to come home and watch G4.
My favorite shows:

Icons
Cinematech
Cheat! (w/ Cory Rouse)
X-Play
Judgement Day
Electric Playground
Attack of the Show
etc.

I am now sad.

Are you drunk?

I don't think a new street fighter would be a big deal as a new announcement at all. The only thing they need to bloody show that is a possibility is TLG, but I feel like there is almost zero chance of that given how they have roled so far. Announcing that game so early was a disaster I am sure they never want to repeat.

I wonder if TLG got a MAJOR facelift and looks completely different. Its been long enough.

What even IS it now, then?

That's why the game can fuck off and get canned as far as I am concerned.

Let Ueda start over, stop holding this trite amalgam of Shadow and ICO over his head, and let him do some smaller games he can actually complete.

If announcing it now is still "early" we have biiiiiig problems

You just hurt my feelings.

Pretty sure they're keeping TLG for E3. If I don't see it this E3 I will join Y2Kev

No jokes here, TLG is the most likely among all the crazy things I've read in this thread.
It's a game confirmed to be in development, they stated that things are progressing well and they finally had an idea about when to reintroduce it. It's basically the same FFXV situation, at some point it will happen.
Things like FFVII Remake, Crash Bandicoot, Shenmue and others are just personal dreams but there's nothing that suggests they might happen. They still could, it would be amazing, but they're just dreams atm.

Well, we at least need to stop treating it, as if we were ever missing out on anything. It hasn't happened because it was bad, and they couldn't see a way of making it better (just yet).

I'd have preferred they not bother re-engineer TLG, and just start something new.

Street fighter ain't relevant now? I want something else but Street exclusive is a big deal man most influential fighting game ever!

Uh huh.

That's like saying Gone Home is the most influential 'Narrative Explorer' game ever.

So yeah, it's a huge deal for people who like it, but that's a relatively small audience.

stop embarrassing yourself.

it's from the makers of ico and shadow of the colossus.

their next game will always be a must-play.

"it hasn't happened because it was bad" gee tell us about your knowledge of the game's development.

I didn't say it, personally. That this is an event centered around Somy's history and fanbase makes a sensible view in this instance though, I think.

Yeah. We are a pretty odd bunch.

I find it odd now that you aren't hyping up Dogma 2.

Considering how they've handled SFIV, it just seems like it'd be an "eh" announcement. SFIV's original announcement was a big deal because it was a return of the series.

In the last six years, we've had five versions of SFIV. Having an all new game with this in mind is not a megaton.
