PlayStation 20th Anniversary: Greatest Soundtracks Compilation

Since no one did one yet:
Crash
Tekken
MGS
GT
GTA
FF
ICO
GOW
Uncharted
LBP
Skyrim
TLoU
Tearaway
Resogun
Destiny

I just want to point out how iconic/excellent the Destiny theme is.

I was listening to this and noticed many games, however when Destiny hit I knew it within a millisecond of hearing the violin. Truly outstanding music.

Also - the Last of Us. As soon as I heard it, feels.

Weighted too much to newer gens.
No Chrono Cross?
No Vagrant Story?
No Wipeout / XL / 3?
No Jumping Flash (RIP Takeo Miratsu)?
No Parappa songs?
Ico over SotC?
Bah

Multiplatform games like Skyrim don't belong here... it should be PS exclusives if we're talking about 20 years of PS...

They are from the UK so I guess that's why there's no Chrono Cross or Xenogears in the mix as those weren't released in Europe.

It's crazy to think that those two weren't released in Europe at a time when Square were on fire. Those are two of their most praised games from that gen as well.

To be able to experience visions of the past by only listening part of musics that once played over and over again and to remember all the good old times with friends and family, some of them who are no longer among us, other moved but all of them played an important role during our growth no matter your age is something unique and there is not shame to say you can feel some warm feelings going through your body because memories can always be immortal.

I hope to be able to experience many more years of gaming no matter your platform of choice. For me it is and will always be to have a good time, to have fun so I can, 20 years later, remember all the good memories when I first played a certain game or listened to a unique soundtrack for the very first time.

It might be that SquidPhysics didn't have time to learn those songs as well. He's only one man.

Between Metal Gear, FFX and Last of Us. Damn, and Tearaway too! Right in the squishy heart bits!

The Trophy pop at the end was perfect too. Nicely done.

Too awesome man. I can't like or favorite the video enough. The Crash, Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted, Last Of Us, and Little Big Planet themes were amazing.

Good but needed a lot of others in there instead of generic stuff like Skyrim and Destiny. Needed LocoRoco, Katamari Damacy, Wipeout, and perhaps Infamous as well.

Of what was there, Ico and TLOU sent me to shiver town.

Listenin' to those Crash bongos all day.

Great to see SquidPhysics getting some play, I've always enjoyed the covers they did. They have a great Ezio's Family one (AC2 has one of the best soundtracks of all time.)

Really good.

Of course they start with Crash. The feels.

Any chance of a list? I'm wondering if there are any themes of other games I missed because they sound slightly different to the original renditions.

I feel like I should have recognized more of these.

Still pretty amazing. Some of 'em hit me right in the nostalgia feels.

I've played on PS products since PS1 launch and... I'm sad to say I don't recognize a lot of these. I mean obvious ones are obvious (Crash, MGS, FF, Uncharted, LBP) but...eh. I never thought Sony 1st party has a lot of iconic music throughout the years. Weird to use so many 3rd party themes.

Was very nicely done though.

Edit: Also, the PS in the beginning should have been upside down for full, accurate nostalgia. =)
