It was short 2 million sales and it has great potential as an IP. If Dragon's Dogma 2 is Capcom's game, Sony will certainly give it the facelift it needs to be another classic franchise.

You're right about the huge install on XB360 and PS3... but let's be honest, the actual active install base wasn't that huge anymore IMO.

For a new IP, that is a success. You may have your own opinion, but saying that a sequel is destined to fail is just ridiculous.
