I was going to say something but them I remembered the vehicles in T2 didn't fly like that, so you've got a point.
 
I have a big problem with this film basically writing T1 and T2 out of existence. I don't think I was prepared for how bad this trailer was going to be. I already didn't expect much after Salvation.

Looks like total shit, as expected. More accurately, it looks like it's trying to just be every other Hollywood movie.

What have they done to my beloved franchise.

So trailer based speculation, still spoilertagged though:

There'll most definitely be time travel from 1984 and forward to present day, the LCD screens are a dead give away, but the second give away is Ahnold, having brown hair on introduction (killing young Ahnold), and having white hair in the final scene of the trailer.
 
Am I a terrible person for not recognizing Lee Byung-hun? Especially since I have seen countless Korean movies?

all i'm left with confusion of what the plot is, and was that Rick Yune as the bad Terminator????



Edit: i'm sure i will see this no matter how bad it will be, but i wish they continued with the Salvation storyline instead.
 
I think of the hateful reactions are a little much. I don't expect it to be anywhere near the level of epicness of Cameron movies, obviously. I endured T3 and Salvation, this can't be any worse. At least Arnold is back. But I agree they should have made her look more badass. Sarah looks like a child.
 
Internet fan boy cynicism is the worst. Too busy patting each other on the back, making a centrifugal force machine of negative fun, to even be open minded.

Looks good to me, and I'm a huge fan of the Terminator movies (tho 3 had some cringe worthy moments)
 
Doesn't look as bad as I thought, but man Emelia Clarke is terrible at Sarah Connor. I understand that since this is an alternate timeline, she's supposed to be different but...I mean then what's the point of having Sarah Connor in the first place?

I do really like the fact that all of these time-travel shenanigans have really fucked up the past. It's something the Terminator TV show began to explore very well until it got cancelled. :(
 
Ok, let me tamper my previous statement: it does not look "amazing", but it certainly does not look like the piece of shit you guys are making it to be.
 
Why do they feel the need to keep inserting time travel elements into terminator sequels? There are already tons of stories they could do in the future time period before the humans or Skynet start sending terminators back.

Also, what could the new older Arnie terminator's objectives possibly be? "Ensure copulation and conception of John Connor." Seriously, wtf.

Lena has always been a badass in a lot of movies and yes even as Sarah Connor. Love that women.

Clark's hand is barely even able to hold the gun. They should have picked some firearms that don't make her look like a child holding an adult's gun. I thought it was going to fly out of her hand when she fired it.

The contrast in these .gifs sums up the whole trailer well. Just pure comedy.
 
Rewatched the trailer. Yep. Still looks like pys.

Think it could still be fun though. Hoping for some good action sequences and score at the very least.

Skynet has the worst security of a self aware AI ever. No matter how far back they send their terminator, some how the Resistance always sends someone back at the same time.
 
I thought this was a parody trailer where they tried to cram as many catchphrases from the first two movies into a trailer and then they will release the actual new trailer.

holy shit it's terrible on every level.
