I'd be fine with a new God of War, I skipped Ascension and it's been 4 years since GoW3. I'm ready.

But they need to freshen it up somehow, change the protag and setting perhaps.

Getting rid of Kratos? There's a lot of people who don't even play games but they still recognize him. He's iconic at this point. They should change up the gameplay structure and maybe add more playable characters.
