Super Smash Bros. for Wii U |OT| True Potential of Smash Bros.

Can anyone give a newb some tips on starting to learn how to play this dang game? I progressed a little bit but now my Amiibo is embarrassing me.
 
Oh, the nintendo land game case isn't one of those awful eco cases. I just swapped the cases with this game so I don't have to almost break the disk to get the game out.
 
I was looking at last page stuff, my thoughts

- Pit > Cheats on Math Test Pit
- Snake had Dark Souls 2 hitboxes, Metaknight wields bullet hell shmup spaceshhips
- Link is easily High or Upper Mid tier with amazing normals that both hit cleanly and kill well (even tilts)
 
I posted this in the GC adapter thread but reposting here.

I forgot I preordered one of these from Best Buy months ago and I bought the Smash bundle so I have an extra adapter.

I have no interest in gouging people so I'm willing to raffle it away and have the winner reimburse me the $20 I paid for it + shipping. Hopefully the raffle winner is someone who really needs it and isn't just a flipper but that's the risk.

Last night I went to the Trophy Gallery on the Wii U for the first time, and I've always had the sound off when looking at trophies on the 3DS. Why did nobody tell me how good the music is?

Like I said, I disagree in that he's good but I'll have to watch top tier. Keeps and see why. I'm wrong because I honesty think he's average at best. Maybe I'm just spoilt because I Project M but that game is incredible. My main, Ike, feels so bad in Sm4sh.

Yeah I did enjoy goo against R.O.B because you never see him/it being played. I'll see how cross seas connections work with other people and if problems also happen there.

Ugh, just how rare are bosses in the Smash Tour mode? Did like 6 20 turn matches and not one. They do show up like other events like the Metroid, Reaper, etc, right? I'm probably going to have to do the "4 player" with three dead controller method for now since my second left and I won't have another for a week or so probably, bleh. (We saw a Metroid, and of COURSE a CPU grabbed it first after it got my stats, urgh).

Man, I decided to finally do the stupid 4 controller one person Smash Tour thing, and Ridley showed up on the second to last turn. I decided to juggle two controllers since I heard if the other three end up falling out the battle ends or something, so I was mainly focused on keeping them alive while whacking at him. Get him near death and... the time runs out. And then on the last turn nobody manages to get close enough for a second encounter, despite the fact that it was the small map. Urgh. At least I got the Metroid.

Seriously though, guys, is it just bad luck for me that it took 7 tries before a boss showed up? Or are they really just that rare? Any trick for getting them to pop up?
 
We're doing something kind of random tonight on our stream - Free for alls on both Smash Wii U and 3DS at the same time so we can cram some 8 player action into one stream. We're on gigabit fiber, and there's really been minimal lag between both games going on and depending on who connects. Would love to Smash with you guys!

Got my Ebay/Newegg Cyber Monday WiiU + Smash bundle tonight... except Smash didn't get packed in. What a bummer, I've never had Newegg mess something up for me before. :[
 
So does the "view all Final Smashes" challenge allow you to do training mode or anything? Also, does it need to be listed under the trigger of having done them in Records? I've only "seen" 2 according to that, but via CPUs using them and whatnot I've definitely seen more...

Also, got all CDs! Hooray!
