Iirc, she's popular. You can't milk something that is dead. According to S-E's Keikaku*(Case:Lightning) it's in their best interest to keep popular characters alive, so they can milk them. *cough* DLC + goodies + sequels *cough*

*Note: Keikaku means plan.

On another topic. I'd like to see a remaster(no changes in gameplay!) of Soul Blade/Edge and rebooting the whole series, someday. It was such a great game filled with content.

While I'm pretty much indifferent about Crash. I think it would be great if they can finally get him back as their mascott platformer. Too bad Toro never got a fair chance in the west :(.

In general I just hope they are able to bring back some old gems, since the event is the 20th anniversary and called PSX. But as always hope for the best and expect the worst.

People only see the negative things in a Remake - But there are so many aspects of the game that you could improve with todays technology.

Just imagine the Aertih Scene in Luminous Engine....Or Cities like Midgar and places like Gold Saucer in Ps4 Graphics.

Agreed on most of that. Maybe I'm alone but I wasn't really a fan of the Advent Children character designs, at least not Cloud's.
 
Damn this thread moves at such a rapid pace. I really cannot keep up!

Does anyone honestly think Crash will be announced? I'm hopeful but just cannot see it happening.

Have Sony managed to keep a lid on leaks and spoilers for this event too? That's the most impressive part of this entire thing!
 
Played FFVII for the first time in my life today. While it seems to have a pretty good story, the combat the graphics feel pretty dated.


Sony, remake this please.

its People like you why we need a FF7 Remake. Playing this game in 2014 you will never get those feels and emotions we got around that time.

The next Generation shall also experience this piece of masterwork
 
Why did you bastards get me so hyped? WHY? Oh well, guess I'm on the hype train now. (I am going to be so disappointed after this event)
