I don't know about new players specifically, but I've been watching this series of videos (just posted within the last 24 hours) and have gotten a lot of good info out of them. I'm not new (having played Smash 64 and Brawl), but have very little knowledge of fighting games in general and have never really played Smash at more than low-mid-level.

Note, these guys are advanced players and a few of the things they mention are over my head, but for the most part I found it pretty easy to follow. The character-specific stuff in the last 2 videos will be really nice for learning how to play your fighters of choice.

It doesn't tell you how many CDs you have, but the total amount of songs you have (437 being the max).

Ahh well, I guess I have to sort this nonsense out lol. I just got the USB-Ethernet adapter and I think its what is causing the issue. The WiiU doesn't seem to want to recognize that its plugged in or something.

I'm having a hard time going back to 3ds version of smash. The game just feels like crap compared to the Wiiu version, I can't deal with the controls on it anymore. I'm giving it up sigh. Anyone else having the same issue?
