PlayStation Experience Event 2014 - 20 Years of gaming memories distilled

That was incredible! Seems a little more open ended, too. Gunplay seemed smooth and great, stealth is more viable with the amazing foliage, and the platforming seemed a lot less automated. MAN I CANNOT WAIT!

Well, that was pretty amazing. Even the combat looked good. I was incredibly turned off by the endless shooting galleries in UC1. I didn't even really play the other two; just a bit of the second one, I think.

"Stop the bullshit cg cutscene trailers that don't show us anything"

"And also stop the long gameplay demos of highly anticipated titles"

BROOOOOOOOOOOOTHER!

If that's all one big, connected island world then just wow. Even if it's now, then just wow. I am super excited to play this!

I've never actually played an Uncharted so I'll definitely be grabbing this. Looks like they mixed Last of Us with some Tomb Raider which is my kind of deal.

That area where the encounter took place was exactly the type of thing I wanted to see. It was pretty big with lots of room to improvise, that encounter could've played out in a ton of different ways.
And holy shit, it looks fantastic.

How is it stale? What else in the genre is better? What else could do they do?

Less set pieces. More challenging parkour instead of pressing one buttons. More physics gameplay where rocks break more and you can use the environment to your environment. Less linear gameplay.
Game is just to scripted for me; but the AI did look pretty good.
