Ah I see. GGs. I'm trying to figure out this lag. I just used wifi but sware it's better than my wired sometimes.

Ok so it was more or less the same though now, Blackquill, our connection is at the red. So I suppose the wired was better. Just before I played you and Aerobatics I had a really smooth for glory match. So maybe it wasn't me.
Still thou him using this wired set up, is anyone familiar with setting that will make it better? Or do I just leave it as default?

So uh, if you use your cstick for aerials, it cancels your momentum. That's really stupid, is that intentional?

No you just have to flick it, you can't hold it for aerials because holding cstick allows you to charge smashes now too (which is cool)
Why they dont just give it the regular functionality when tour in the air, I don't know.

They removed Lanky and Chunky's segments. The song may as well not be in the game if they're going to butcher it that much.

At least the Wario franchise got a new stage, which is more than F-Zero got. F-Zero had no new stages, and just one new remix, which is a FOURTH version of the Mute City theme.
Not to mention F-Zero is still the only franchise that's been represented since the original Smash Bros. that has still yet to get a second playable character (Yoshi doesn't count, as regardless of what the games say, he's still a Mario character).

3DS version exists you know? F-Zero got treated a lot better than Wario in the end of things because it at least got a new remix.
And no, F-Zero doesn't need another playable character and I'm saying this as a huge F-Zero fan. When fans are hoping for Black Shadow of all people, then it's time to stop and reevaluate your life choices.

Quick question. Would you guys say this game is lots of fun and worth it if you don't play online or with friends? Like a complete single player experience. Would it be worth purchasing for that?

I still think it's about equal, if the extra remix not in the international versions is taken into account. Though I guess F-Zero has many more model-ripped trophies, and Wario has a modeled alt...
And speaking of which, although a new character for F-Zero would be unnecessary, a proper Blood Falcon alt is long overdue. Retaining Falcon's regular voiceset; a new model, a Hell Hawk model rip for the intro / FS and announcer calls would be all that's required. And extra 'laundromat accident' costumes for both of them, of course.

Considering that Sakurai stated that both games would be able to stand on their own as separate entries in the franchise, no, it doesn't. The least they can do is port over Mute City and Magicant as DLC for the Wii U version.

I don't know if anyone else is up for games (I'm good with anything), but my NNID is BlueScrote.
Typing on mobile here. Only F-Zero newcomer I'd approve is Samurai Goroh. He's one of the original racers, the Fire Stingray is an iconic videogame vehicle, he's been an AT in three games now, he's Falcon's rival, he has a unique body type (abs on a beer belly!), and the sheath/unsheath sword style in fighting games has yet to be repped in Smash, barring a Takamaru appearance. But a new F-Zero ought to come out first, IMO.

It doesn't make sense to include more F-Zero characters at this point. There's no more call to represent F-Zero.
Heck, I'm almost surprised that Cap is still in the game. I actually laughed to myself the first time I scrolled over Cap on the character select screen and thought about how much of a miracle it is that Nintendo still bothers to include him.
All that said, while I'm not the biggest F-Zero fan, I'm glad that Captain Falcon is still playable, as if he's being grandfathered into each successive iteration of Smash. I feel the same about Ness, only difference being that his inclusion means a little bit more because I'm a Mother fanboy.

Wario got another Assist Trophy. The only thing Wario got shafted on was music, which, yes, sucks. But it's missing a stage in the 3DS version, which is missing stages for like half the series in the game anyway. F-Zero got... a redundant new song and no new stage in the Wii U version, which has new stages for all of them save F-Zero and Mother. The shafting of F-Zero may be somewhat comparable but it feels more laser guided than Wario's. F-Zero feels almost entirely forgotten in the Wii U version, made only worse by how it's essentially dead to Nintendo at large, living only through references to other games. Smash Bros. is F-Zero's lifeblood at this point. Mother at least got another Assist Trophy and made out like a bandit with new remixes.
EDIT: F-Zero doesn't need a new character. It just needs a new stage. Being skipped over entirely in the first HD Smash sucks.
