Love this game. I was super excited for weather and they didn't disappoint. They just sold themselves another season pass. I'm all in now. Keep bring the goods evolution. I think this very well might be my GOTY.

I swore off this game after the launch issues, but man oh man those screenshots are making me change my mind...
Someone has to create a challenge from a Single Event race/time trial/drift where rain is turned on. You can't insert rain into challenges that were made without it.

Is that part of the free expansion roadmap, or paid DLC?
Create you single event with weather settings then click on the button related to creating your challenge (can't remember what its called at present), and that's it.
I found myself in 3 weather-containing challenges last night. Suffice to say I didn't cover myself in glory.
All future events will only be a part of the Season Pass (or can be bought separately?), no free events from now on. Only some cars & all the new tracks will be free, but Tour Mode Events will not.
Price has dropped for today, Amazon Green monday deal. $34.99 on Amazon today.

The last word we got from Sony was that it was indefinitely delayed. The server issues have gotten a lot better in DC, but there are still sporadic issues and they're continuing to work on them. But I don't know - I wouldn't hold my breath for the free version anytime soon.

Played around 10 races with weather, I wish i had time for more, and i'm speechless, Driveclub with weather is the most impressive games i've seen this gen!!! My jaw did really drop this time! Holly balls at the graphics... It looks so real and so nice!!! The gifs don't do it justice enough...it's even better when you play.

It sounds like you didn't know, but there was supposed to be a free chunk of the game for PS+ (like 20% of content or something?) at launch, but due to networking issues they haven't been able to release it yet.

Fluid drift on the windshield when behind opponents is crazy good! Especially in low riding cars like the Exige.

3. throttle/brake mapped to right analog stick.
4. Two new tracks!
This is officially my favorite racing of all time. No hyperbole. With the 2015 Corvette Stingray coming, I just need a 2015 Mustang, 2015 Camaro z/28, and 2015 Focus RS to have all the American cars I want... then a GTR from Japan. Yes, this is my own personal list; i'm aware others want many other cars, but these are the only cars I need added to make this game perfect for me.
Still waiting for the promised Japan tracks and replay mode to round out the content, though.

Much like the Horizon games it's pulled off very well. I'm one of the biggest proponents you'll find for 60fps+ gaming but the sense of speed in this game is so well done and the framerate is extremely stable. I don't find myself thinking about it being 30fps much at all..
