OK, WTF.

Is Samus the only woman who provides fan-service in this game?

What about Palutena?
That and she also
talks with Pit

This thread moves pretty quickly and I wanted to get more eyes on this.

I'm having the strangest issues. I can navigate the entire menu with the analog stick and press A to make choices. However once I get into a fight, the analog stick no longer works and A doesn't do anything. This happened last night during the beginning of the night. Later on I tried the controller again and it worked fine. What gives? Even stranger, if I go into Test mode in Controls, pressing A shows up on the bottom as having been pressed but an attack is never thrown out.

I actually threw away an old controller that was doing the exact same thing, thinking it was broken. That might not have actually been broken at all. Ugh. Anyone else seen this? It's driving me nuts.

After posting this I went to Test mode and swapped the old with the new, it bumped me back to the controls screen. Tested with the new, worked. Swapped new with old, bumped back to controls. Tested with old, worked! Aah!

Good games as always, Kyzon. No johns, you definitely outplayed me, but man fighting your Ganondorf is frustrating since I can't tech very well since moving to the gamecube controller. Not sure what it is, but I was able to tech way better on my 3DS. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon, but every time you'd side-b me and I couldn't tech it, my soul died a little.

The timing on that thing is weird as hell. it's understandable. I hope with every patch they move the timing around XD.

Those F-Smashes with your mario were murdering me though. Reading me like a book

That looks like a shot rabbidlmao would've took before he was banned from Miiverse.

Has he found an alternate way to get his gratuitous ass-shots to the Internet?

That has to be this guy, right?

Just saw his screens earlier in the Popular feed. Seems to be an active account, perhaps an alt of the one you're talking about. 'cause this stuff seems to be all he posts.

I really am getting curious as to how far the Miiverse mods have been instructed to let things go. This was inevitable with Smash.

Sounds like you were hold directions/buttons as the controller turned out. This causes the controller to think that it's always holding or pressing that, leading to erratic behavior. To fix, just unplug, make sure everything on the controller is in neutral, and plug back in. With older ones, I've seen the sticks occasionally be off center even when not touched, causing me to have to try a few times.

Not sure, but that's what it sounds like from here, at least.

Hitbox on that is pretty generous, so it's not too hard of a read. But thanks!

holy shit that guy commented on one of my miiverse pics... this is so awkward...

I have barely seen any in-game fanservice pics of anyone besides ZSS and Shulk. It is ridiculous.

well, at least we have some fanservices for the ladies... still nothing to the levels of shirtless Link in TP P:

So I used to main Dedede and Ness, since they are my favorite characters, but I'm having a lot of trouble with characters with high priority like sheik. So I remember I loved yoshi but never really liked how he played in the old smash games, but I decided to give it a try in this one. HOLY SHIT YOSHI PLAYS SO DIFFERENT NOW. He is fast yet hits hard, he has an useful recovery that actually helps him with mind games and as a decent projectile, AND HIS UPTAUNT IS THE GOAT. It also helps that hes air neutral is AWESOME.

I think I found a new main.

Is anyone expecting any character patches for when Mewtwo is released?

I wish Mewtwo wasn't the only thing we'd get, I was hoping for maybe more pokeballs, or costumes.

Don't think Armored Mewtwo is going to be in either.

I have had a similar issue with mine. I go through all the menus with the GC controller, but when I get to the CSC, the Gamepad becomes Player 1 all of a sudden. It seems random, and if I back out and go back in, it sometimes fixes itself.

Man, fuck diddy kong

No hate for diddy as a character, but if I had the choice to totally take him out of this game I would do it almost immediately.

Shoot em' all with the nerf gun!

The only character I feel deserves a nerf (if only slightly) is Diddy Kong.
Yep. Diddy should've been hit in 1.04 like the other top tiers but he wasn't.

Besides nerfs though, they need to straight up make Lucina and Dark Pit more distinct from their original molds.

Lucina is shorter and shorter range, and more consistent with her hit boxes with the damage distributed evenly rather than at the tip.

For a clone, not much else they can do with her aside from outright giving her a different set of moves like Dr. Mario to Mario.
