Lucina is shorter and shorter range, and more consistent with her hit boxes with the damage distributed evenly rather than at the tip.

For a clone, not much else they can do with her aside from outright giving her a different set of moves like Dr. Mario to Mario.

They can actually make her damage good enough to justify the trade off for starters. Right now she's just straight up Marth without a tipper.

1000 turns in Smash Tour, and I have seen one Metroid. Just sayin'!

The 300000 G is unbreakable, but it's super easy to get by gambling on Spectator. In about 30 minutes the matches tend to repeat a lot so you can rack up money really quick.

I used my hammers on:

Classic on 7.0 with everyone
All star on Hard with everyone
Destroy 50000 blocks in Trophy Rush
Clear Classic 9.0 as Marth in 12 minutes
Recover stats from a Metroid in Smash Tour

I'm regretting the Marth one. I popped it because I just didn't want to be arsed with it but after seeing how much proper Equipment abuse breaks the game I know now I really didn't need to use a hammer. I'll do it later along with an Equipment-less no death run down the road. The others I just used because I ain't got time for that grinding, except for one...

FUCK THAT METROID CHALLENGE. I did goddamn Smash Tour using four gamecube controllers by myself 6 goddamn times with 25 turns each. That Metroid didn't even fucking show up ONCE!! Why?? Screw that! That was the angriest Gold Hammer anyone has ever used.

Yeah, damn, I might need to hammer that Metroid challenge. Still going to give it the ol' college try before I do, though.

And as for the 300,000 G challenge, yeah, there's Spectator mode and I forgot how useful amiibo are for farming gold (and everything else). I've just been leaving the game going with my five amiibo fighting 99-Stock battles with one another and that usually gets me 6,000 G or so per run. Of course, I have enough trophies now that new ones are going for 2,500 G apiece in the Shop, so it's still going to take awhile...

Ok Nintendo, you win.

Yes, I did panic buy the rest of the Amiibo.

I did get the challenge, though. Just leave Smash Tour on passively while doing other things and check in on it every ~10 minutes.

Also, I think you get ~200K gold from challenge rewards.

I don't even understand that thing, I just stay the fuck away from it. I'll probably need to play that character myself to fully understand how to easily dispatch it.
That's not the solution here! :-P

Anyone see this yet?

Smash Basketball type of level. You try to knock people into the "basket" to score points (it sends them down off to the bottom of the stage, though there's a slight chance the moving platform may save you).

The backboard is made of lava to get missed shots to bounce back to the court.

Then you throw in a bunch of barrels on top to prevent anyone from flying off screen that way.

Set a time limit and see who can score the most points.

I'm hoping to have the energy to play some this coming Friday. Some private stuff has been wearing me down lately.

Ugh, why is classic so much worse in this version.
I swear every 8 player smash gets me at 70% damage within the first 10 seconds, who thought it was a good idea to have the CPU gang up on you like this.

I think everyone is going to hate me but the very first time I booted up Smash Tour, on the second roll of the dice a Metroid showed up and sucked my powers off.
The next turn I smashed it to smithereens and completed that challenge!

Luck is a skill!

Well okay then. Just finished off the Challenge board (used hammers for the last 5, all of which would've just been a painful grind in terms of time), and the reward was...
2 million gold? Why?! What on earth will I do with that at this point in the game?! Just so goofy and useless...

Anyway, just need to do like 13 more All Star runs or something to nab the rest of the trophies, and I'll be "done" with the single-player stuff for now, at least for my purposes (don't feel like grinding out the rest of the Custom Moves or the last 15 or whatever hats that I need).

Crazy Orders is good for great Customs

Lucina should have replaced Marth, and put instead a very different character from other series.
Lucina was a quick clone; "a very different character" couldn't possibly have been added in her place. That's not how game development works. Also, replacing the most important character from the entire Fire Emblem series with the third most important character from a single Fire Emblem game is a really terrible idea.

Some other ZSS player explain to me why she isn't using her b-air, is it not as good as I think it is? It's hard to land but it kills really easily.

Aside from that though I learned a bunch of stuff watching this ZSS
