Wii-U games.
Yeah, no. The Wii U may be selling like crap, but Nintendo's first party titles are still making bank.
Your criteria for bomba is so loose that almost every game could fit in there if a person is determined enough.
Did DriveClub even chart during its release?
Does Bayonetta count even tho everybody knew it was go on a Bomb?
Little Big Planet 3 sold like 99k on PS4.
I remember a lot of people around here talking it up like it was gonna move systems cause it is kid friendly or something.

After listening to the Bombcast talk about it and they were huge fans of the company and development, it doesn't sound fantastic.
Didn't hear them chat about it, but I warmed up to it after the very slow intro and I tend to clock about an hour a night on it. I was cautiously interested going in but took the plunge because of the developer pedigree and have been extremely happy with it, but the biggest problem is...
... yep. I've posted videos of it for friends and they are totally confused, because it's not a game that you really get to 'enjoy' by watching video or having someone explain it to you. It's not like Dance Central where you get the concept before going in -- it's a very different experience, and one you really have to play to 'get', which (combined with the Kinect requirement) makes it a very likely bomba candidate. It's probably not for anyone, and the nature of the mechanics/controller mean missed inputs can be annoying, so I won't say it's perfect, but it's a game I really get into when I play (mind you I'm also the person playing solo Rock Band vocals all the time and bouncing around my living room like an idiot, so, hey).
To some extent, I feel it's a bit like NintendoLand and the early WiiU/Gamepad stuff, where it looked like hot garbage but people tended to really like it after they actually sat down and used it.
Dragon Age is is no I'd say. It's not surprising it didn't make Top Ten when you look at that list, anyone walking down the street knows GTA, Pokemon, Halo, Assassin's Creed, etc.
Here's what BioWare's Jarret Lee said:
"Hi guys - obviously it's a drag not to see DAI on that top 10 list for November. I can't really give any figures of course...However, from what I know about the sales numbers (a) DAI is doing great and well ahead of it's predecessors, and a significant percentage of sales of DAI are digital and not tracked by NPD. If anything, I'm more worried about the weird signals this chart sends to the market about DAI, as opposed to the reality of our unit sales"
Maybe 3DS games but not Wii U games
Mario Kart 8 and Smash sold just fine. Hell, even Hyrule Warriors "exceeded expectations" though that's not first party
The Crew is the one that I'd be worried about (or not, since it's a terrible game).
bayonetta 2
though it was expected I guess
Both sold well below their predecessors which is enough for CODAW to be considered a bomba by some. And yeah, Zelda musou sold above expectations because the production looks like it cost so little.
So uh, 1 game? And it's a musou? OK.

Scratching my head at the Watch_Dogs and Destiny posts, that's not what a bomba is
On topic: Bayo 2 selling less than the 360 version in Japan is a bomba and very depressing
the game can be a financial success but still considered disappointing compared to relative expectations.
both Smash and MK8 are on a system with a drastically lower install-base. Considering MK8 has a fucking insane attach rate, these games are doing fine by expectations unless someone expected both to suddenly make the WiiU a Wii-like success.
Melee sold more and had a 800k install base if I remember correctly. You are getting way too worked up over this man. Calm down.
Dragon age tanked at Amazon and is 39 bucks 3 weeks after release. I think its safe to comment.
Melee was also pretty much a launch title on the Gamecube and didn't have a handheld version released around the same time.
UK numbers include bundled games unlike NPD, so it's not a surprise Driveclub's figures are decent over here.We don't have sales numbers for Driveclub but all signs point to it selling very well. Someone in the NPD thread mentioned it sold 80k last week in the UK alone.
I will back up some people saying Destiny as tbh, if I were Activision I'd be worreid about Destiny's long term appeal after the various fumblings of the first game regardles of it's sales. This is supposed to be their next CoD after all.
Watch Dogs though? yeah, no matter what way you cut that, the game was a success in everything except it's own bloody quality >_>
The sad thing is the old levels are barely compatible. Anything moderately complex seems to be broken in some way or other. I was excited to check out some of the top levels since I stopped playing LBP2, but given the state they're in I wish they would have said forget it and taken the series in a more innovative direction.I wonder if the cross-gen and cross compatibility hurt it. For myself, when I found out it was compatible with old LBP levels I lost interest. The concept behind LBP is great, but the core gameplay is severely lacking.
MS has been quiet about SO numbers.
That's stupid, for lack of a better word.Well I'm happy that myself and a good deal of other posters I saw in various threads plus obviously customers spoke with our wallets.
You sell DA2 for 59.99, you get enemies.
The Wii U?
That's true, smash3ds stole a lot of thunder.
