I think it was trying to show Gabumon's loyalty to stick by Yamato's terrible decision making (though I'd argue a true friend wouldn't let someone burn bridges because of their own insecurity).

Characters act really dumb in those episodes. It ends with everyone separating like a bunch of idiots.

Taichi is an exception and rocks the last arc of Digimon Adventure. Yamato and Sora sort of fail as characters during it imo.

Sora was already treading the line of weak character development when she got a repeat of Yamato's cave thing.

Yup they are dragging this out.

My guess is they didn't have much information to show but wanted it announced. Silhouettes and random "How Tai wakes up in the morning" doesn't take too much resources and allows them to drag it out with the egg stuff. Especially Hype Killer: Sukamon/Scumon.

My guess is unless this round of nade nade has art work, then our first piece of new info will be sometime in the new year.

That said I am cautiously optimistic for this. Two of the guy's who directed and produced Season 2 said they won't be coming back for this (can't remember names though). So hopefully the plot maintains at least some form of coherence and consistency.

Nah, Hikari looks more rounder imo. Same expression though yeah.

Hikari + Takeru look like their in the middle school Tai and that were in, in 02 while the others must be in their High School uniforms.

Except Joe so I'm guessing he's in College/University?
