I really does invoke the Shin Megami/Persona/Durarara artsyles.
I'd say so, people would have forgotten about this.
Unless you think a mod updating the title would get more people to come here. (people that may have lost interested after the first egg/sukamon thing)
Good new is that with this drastic artwork change, I wouldn't be surprised if we got a retcon of some sort. Art style is much different than the later Toei Digimon outing. Hopefully its a sign of their investment into the project.
Seriously, looking at Hikari/Sora. It looks like Hikaris face is rounder.
But the artist making this poster probably copy-pasted the eyes/mouth from one to the other.
Still I'm both shocked at how different the art style is yet I'm also surprised how much I like it. Looks nice.

What have they done O_O... The change is way too drastic - it's difficult to recognise them if we was them individually... Also tais hair is shorter D=
I'd say "Digimon Adventure Tri" since that seems to be the title. I would definitely mention Tai without goggles.

I have watched all seasons except that i skipped some of young hunters(which sucked). Honestly i am not very excited for the next season since 02 was pretty bad and usually it is hard to maintain a interesting story if the same characters get used too long.
I guess it will be on par with season 1 and 6(until YH). Of course i will watch it in Japanese with English subtitles.
