Jimquisition (Dec. 15) - Regarding My Inquisitor And Vaginas

So he's making fun and calling out people who are "not okay" about the diversity options in Dragon Age: Inquisition, for those who can't watch.

At last, the long awaited sequel to 'Gamer Guys'.

Pretty funny episode, especially near the end. I'm guessing the point will be lost on all the people who feel differently, however.

I got a few good chuckles, but can't we all just agree the gelatinous creatures that stick to the bottom of comment sections can be just entirely ignored?

What I'm saying is, how many people are asking "Why are there gay romances in DA:I?". Bioware has been doing them in one form or another for about a decade now, they clearly think they're important and the fans enjoy them. Isn't anyone who asks that question just automatically disqualified from getting a response? I don't see the need to take an episode to cover it.

Though I suppose not a whole lot else is going on. How about an episode on how good Suikoden is? That's a surprise isn't it? Am I the only one shocked by this?

Oh god... the Iron Bull sex scene description...

The very fact that people complain about Homosexual relationships and the presence of transgender characters in the game proves we need more of this content. It's one thing to desire escapism but it's another to ignore real world issues that do in fact affect the world, all media is a reflection of our culture. If you are bothered by Homosexuals in video games then I dread to wonder what you think of them in real-life

As someone who sadly has yet to start DA Inq.
...is this about people complaining about the homo-sexual relationships you can have in this game?

I'm still surprised anyone reads the comments anymore. Has there ever been anything worth reading down there? If anything that this guy made a video responding to them makes me almost respect him less.

There are some who complain about the romance options being "unequal" because a straight male character doesn't have as many options as others.

You're not. I love it, but if you don't find the core gameplay strong enough to carry the MMO-type quest system, you're not gonna like it. That's completely understandable.

It's so sad too. I love the way the game looks, it's just gorgeous and all the areas are pretty unique with cool details. But the gameplay is just not for me. And I can't care about any of the characters or the story.
The only character I genuinly like is Dorian. He is fantastic

Though I agree with Jim, the amount of heterosexuality on display in the game is just sickening.

Ah so this is about people complaining that straight males not having enough romance options despite them having the exact same amount of options they've had since DA:O.

It seems I'm the only person in the world who thinks DA:I is pretty mediocre.

Nah, you're not the only one. After playing RPGs with actually good writing, Dragon Age becomes something between a chore and absolutely unbearable, since neither the combat nor the story can keep you interested.

I have no problem with the alternative romance options in the game, specifically, but I think the romancing in Bioware games in general (since KOTOR) has been ridiculously lame. Especially at this point. It's still the same basic shit as it was 11 years ago. Give it up.

I don't want to derail this thread, so I'm gonna answer in the DA:I thread here

Cool.

Anyway, I heard so much bitching on the BioWare forums by entitled dudebros pissed they couldn't romance Sera and that they only had the choice between "man-face" Cassandra and "too dark-skinned" Josephine. Their words.

Honestly Bioware owed it to everyone but straight males to include more romances. After Mass Effect 2 screw over women (who could easily get locked out of having any romances), DAI is really nice.

I'm a straight male and my main playthrough is a straight male (qunari, but we aren't race-gated). I'm more than happy with both Cassandra and Josephine. Both are adorable.

I was going to say the same thing.
