When ATLA was airing it was my favorite western animated tv at the time.

Now I have Bob's Burgers, Rick and Morty and Archer all ranked higher than the current incarnation of Avatar. Not to say it means it's bad, just that there are higher quality shows. Writing above all else.

Too bad the animation in Archer is horrible, everyone is super stiff, very jarring since the voice acting of everyone in the show is amazing.

That's fine. I teach at the high school level and most of my students' parents are my age. Seriously, it really doesn't bother me.

In fact, I feel much more empowered at this age than I ever have. There's a certain self-confidence that has come with turning 40 that is difficult to explain. I know who I am, and while I'm capable of change, I'm confident in my own beliefs. I won't go so far as to say life begins at 40, but life is better at this age for me than at any other point.

So you're in your prime. Not like "Oh he's in his 20s blah blah prime", more like you have it all together at this point, you're doing well, and that's being in your prime.

High school teacher, too? Mwahahaha.
 
I figured most of GAF was 30 on up. Just because the bulk of the industry is old. So it makes sense the core or hardcore gamers as well as Devs would be 30 on up.

So I don't feel old at 26. You can kind of tell when posters are 18 and younger though :p

I've only seen the FMP shows, seems like a lot of what they do takes place in high school. This fanbase age...no wonder why I've probably scarred innocent little Toa on numerous occasions.

In regards to the Beifongs, I liked how Toph admitted she was a terrible parent and didn't even expect her daughters to love her- just not hate her. The Beifong's family situation needed quite a bit more development than what we got but again this show has a bad case of too many characters and not enough time.

The thought of teaching Kuvira does sound interesting.

I'm 23 but funny enough when I was 21 my sister, 24 at the time, got asked for her id in this fancy las vegas restaurant and I didn't. She later asked why they didn't ask me and they said "were supposed to ask evefybody but we always ask people who look 21 or younger"

Lol she got so pissed

Tenacious is synonymous to TOA TAK so it's hard not to, but you seem like a cool guy, guy.;)

And yooo, that movie is legit. I've also NEVER seen anyone get carded for movies. Drinks, clubs, and occasionally video games, but never movies.

It didn't help that it feels like Korra's FINALLY gotten over the hump and reconnected about four times this season.

I was on a rare date a few years ago and got carded for the movie. That's what happens when I shave. It's hard not to tease Toa, he makes it so easy.

Oh okay, I see how it is. But yeah, movies definitely for whatever reason. >:( Worth it, though, because it's one of my favorite movies.

Just wait for next week, though. I'll be licking all of KorraGAF's delicious tears.

I'd say most of gaf is 30+, I know a lot of people in gaming side are. This is where all the cool youngsters hang out though.

Most of GAF is 30+? Man not only do I work with old people, I waste time on a forum with them. I can't allow myself to catch this disease.
