They're tinkering with the mixing. Have you guys not noticed that the rain and weather effects basically have no audible sound effects at all? Even the wipers in cockpit view are silent.

My first race in DriveClub. :D Many mistakes, but it was so much fun.

You did some nice catching up at the end and good moves at 3:10. I think you could have gotten 7th if you hadn't been tapped at the end there (can't tell who's at fault). I admit I use the AI as cheap barriers in the tour, but I try not to do that online. That Ferrari race that was posted was really clean, impressive driving.

I love the controls. Very responsive and consistent. The drifting feels great; I'm still a bit away from really grasping when the grip slips. I would love to see some real rally DLC.

I've really only experienced the weather patch via awesome yet silent gifs, so no. But that is a glaring omission.

Interesting. I've read a little on private lobbies coming too, which sounds nice.

I really hope private lobbies are coming sooner rather than later. Even before replays hopefully.

All I want to do is invite all my club members into a lobby and go tackle club challenges together with all our times listed on the right hand side or something. Imagine all hooning around the same track chatting and just having a great time trying to beat fellow clubs doing the same thing.

Of course. And I don't like that. Sound is just as important as pretty graphics, maybe more so.

I will wait now for the sound patch before playing the game again.

omg, I play DriveClub with headphones already, and getting to play it with hearing the pattering of rain, the ssssssssssssssh of cars driving through the standing water, and the wiper blades go back and forth would be hnnnnggggggg

I really think there should be at least one free tour showcasing weather.

they're doing "elements" which will showcase it

but not for free probably

Thanks for posting the video. I'm not very good at racing games so it was nice to see what it looked like with someone new to the game playing. I'm considering picking the game up, it looks insanely good with the weather update.

Haha yeah. I highly enjoy playing sim racing games on my G27 wheel without any assists. This is the first arcade games that I wanted to play in a long time, and also, I am forced to acclimate on controlling car with analogue stick [even though I player 100+ hours of Trackmania, there I used dpad for car control].

Evolution pls, add support for Logitech wheels. T_T

Not only that, thd windshield wipers on all the cars go just a tad too slow compared to real life.

I can't even describe how beautiful and photo realistic this game looks. It's real.

The photomode is a wallpaper generator. You can pause the game at any time and take dozens of pictures.

I don't see much of a diference between ingame and photomode. I have a lot of screenshots taken ingame that people will think it's photomode. I need to find a fat32 usb drive to export them.

And here goes a tip for those who still are not aware of it. It's possible to use the DS4 motion sensor to control the car. I have been playing this way. It's not a wheel, but it's much better and realistic than drive with the analog sticks.

this is one of the best racing games of the past decade and I'm going to use it as a future litmus test to know who not to trust about racing games >:)

I love the game, but this is honestly what I thought I was getting with a game titled "Driveclub." The strange omissions in the way this shipped continue to surprise me.

That's the bonnet view which is mimicking a real camera attached outside on top of the hood though, the camera is sitting straight up and isn't slanted like the windshield, so the rain is and should react similar to this. If you're looking at the windshield in DC then you'll notice the raindrops do fly upwards.

Holy shit, that looks so good.

Yep, it's crazy how detailed the rain and reflections are in this game. Think it looks good in a gif - try it at native 1080p. Driveclub and Dragon Age are the only two games that genuinely impressed me this year.

Really enjoying racing in different weather, had my first 'wow' moment that I thought I would share.

I haven't seen anyone mention crashing and rolling their car yet. Happened to me the other day when I ran over some larger rocks on the side of the road and all of a sudden I was pinwheeling down the road. I wasn't even aware you could do that!

Damn, this looks great. I only got the chance to play a few minutes, it didn't click with me, but I certainly didn't play enough to make a judgement.

Rushy if your reading this...please add mud/gravel/road tracks with rally cars sometime next year please it is shut up and take my money.

Think of the more amazing photo's and i think it fits perfectly in driveclub.

I'm just starting out, but I feel like a total A-hole on the track. At the end of every race, I've probably made several lifetime enemies. :)
