Well, the time's almost upon us to vote for GAF's game of the year, so let's take a look at the opposite side of the coin.
I'd have to give it to Rambo: The Video Game. I've posted about this game before, but it's still highly relevant, so what the hell.

I only bought it because it was literally $6 new, and I must say, the reviews were right on the money. You'd think Rambo would be a perfect fit for a stealth shooter, sneaking around the environment, stabbing guys, setting traps, shooting everything when the going gets tough, etc., but nope. It is a light gun game without the light gun. It's on rails and there's an onscreen cursor you move with the analog stick to shoot things. The controls utterly killed this game. They're never as responsive as they need to be to work as a rail shooter. The appeal of light gun games is that killing enemies is a function of response time, so it's fun to test how quickly you can react; Rambo doesn't have that, because you need to crane the reticule over to every bloody target before you can shoot them. I can honestly say I did not have one shred of fun playing Rambo, and felt it was misconceived on a fundamental level; like, I can't imagine this being a good game even if it didn't look like a PS3 launch game, and even if it wasn't an hour and a half long, and even if it didn't just lazily stitch together a few scenes from the movies to make up the whole game.
So GAF, what's the worst game you played this year? Give a rationale and don't just post a box, please.
