Blocking the spin dash does wonders. It's only when he does it at a time where it's hard to react to. (Especially side B since the hop is invincible)

My problem with Sonic is that he's near impossible to out space and trap, especially when you're using slow ass characters on the ground like I do.

When playing against Sonic I understand nothing haha. He uses Side B so I block but then he jumps and uses B so I can't stop shielding. That repeats forever. Besides, he's so fast that Yoshi's eggs are useless.

As a Wario player my answer to Sonic is this

It has priority over nearly all his moves hahahahaha

I think I'm starting to get better a little with Mac. The key seems to be creating mindgames with the dash footwork.

Found out that a good way to get the F-tilt onetwo to connect is to dash through the enemy and do a 180. Worked pretty well!

Arguably the best command grab in the game. It can shut down a lot of options and is a cornerstone of Wario's offense. Just an all around diverse move.

I'd say it's Wario's best move, even, but Bike and Waft are fantastic depending on the situation and match up.

Well Chomp is the ultimate screw you to pretty much any projectile thrown at you.

For the roll just block. It ends the roll immediately. Also, almost every attack breaks the roll.

It really sucks haha.

I only use it as a mix-up approach from a dash. Run straight at your opponent, then activate it just out of their range. Your momentum stalls as you get in the egg, which causes your opponent to whiff (assuming they attack instead of shield), and before they can shield you've already mowed through em and have sped to a safe distance where you can stop the roll.

Not much application beyond that, though. Defintely NEVER start it from far away enough to see it coming.

This doesn't work against people with lots of projectiles lol

Still trying to improve my Smash skills and there's a technique I want to work on, but I don't know what it's called or how to do it.

Is there a name for this?: when your opponent is at high %, you hit him off the ledge, jump off the ledge to hit him some more while you both are in mid-air, and then recover to the ledge while they can't make it back because you knocked them too far away.

Looking for resources and I want to practice, but every time I try it in Classic Smash against the computer, I just end up falling off myself and can't recover.

People usually just say you're chasing off the ledge.

Follow up question, how do you punish "chasing off the ledge"? I want to make these people pay for jumping off and risking their ass for a cheap kill.
Normally challenging them with an aerial of your own, but it's incredibly risky. You're in a disadvantageous position, anywho.

It's not easy getting a gimp in this game. If you're constantly getting gimped, then you're not mixing up your recovery.

Yoshi's egg and Sonic's spins are so confusing for me. I feel like I should be able to punish them easily, but I just block for a while before getting hit like an idiot.

Yoshi's egg roll does seem pretty punishable seeing as it's predictable and doesn't have a lot of offensive or defensive options, but Sonic's spin charge and spin dash really are kind of crazy.
The attack keeps going even if it's blocked/"perfect shielded" so you can't grab him out of it without taking a bit of damage or (even worse) getting caught in one of his damage heavy aerial followups.
He can also play a really solid confusion-fu game with those two specials so it's kind of hard to predict what will happen once he hits you.
