How do I select the Wii u por controller to use? I just bought one and I'm unsure how to switch to it.
Once it's synced to the console just start using it, Smash Bros. will recognize input from any controller at any time.

Character select screen, just start moving the analog stick.
Or on the menu, same thing, just start moving the stick and the cursor will show up.

Since nobody wants to play me I've been waisting money on spectate. It's your fault if I become broke GAF!
Make sure the counter flick leaves the stick in neutral or you'll do a spot dash. Good practice for boost grabs too.
Using Ike, tilts on stick is the only way to play lol.

Oh my god how do i Master Fortress.
I can get to that point pretty consistently, but the platforming segments painfully reminded of how truly slippery the controls are in Smash Bros when trying to play the game as a platformer (Subspace Emissary really didn't work for that reason alone, IMO). I get bodied by the stupid flower turret things and I get juggled so much that I die extremely easily in the hazard areas. I've never been able to destroy more than 2 cores on the damn thing. Ugh, such a horrible idea to add to an already shitty Classic mode. Easily the worst Classic in the series.

I think I might be moving permanently to Lucario. Playing Bowser at a high level is just so frustrating. I'd be happier if they fixed his ledge grabbing and gave him no landing lag on fair.I'll just use Dedede and win though.
I'm using Bowser for this Tourney though. So yeah.

Try it out on the Wii U main menu first, not the wara wara plaza, but the menu where you can pick your games/folders/apps. If it's synched properly, you should be able to move the curser around on the menu with the left analogue stick. To sync, if memory serves correctly, hit the home button on your Wii U game pad and you should see a Controller Settings option. Pick it, and it will ask you to push the small red sync button on the back of the Pro Controller. Do that and it will give you a success message of some sort. After that, you can do the test I mentioned above.
Bowser's fair has no landing lag of you short hop it, it's the same as Charizard's but better because of the bigger hit box.
