Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven announced for PS3/PS4

I'm glad they finally rounded out all the big Part 2 characters. It's one of the best parts of the comic and everybody in it has tons of personality.

And Diego is great just for Scary Monsters, aka the best stand ever
All I need is FF. If FF is in this game, it'll be absolutely perfect.

Don't let me down, Bamco!

Yo, this better have Foo Fighters and Weather Report.
For anybody wondering why FF is so awesome (PART 6 SPOILERS)

Foo Fighters is the hive-mind of a bunch of water-addicted plankton walking around in a girl's corpse. It's one of the good guys in Part 6.

But what about Speedwagon???
Speedwagon's too busy becoming a rich oil tycoon.

Does the Eyes of Heaven subtitle have anything to do with the more recent parts? I've only seen the anime so I wouldn't know.

She also has the best lines and interactions in Part 6 as well as two of the best fights (PART 6 SPOILERS)
one of which involves her outsmarting the then-undefeated main villain.

Screw Hermes; FF was the true deuteragonist of Part 6.

Is there any reason to make a completely different game than ASB? That game was epic aside from the fps problem

I guess that it's because CC2 isn't making this game.

Not really. Well, part 6 has a lot to do with attaining "Heaven" through villainous means so yeah.

Hoping for a game similar in concept to Vento Aureo for the PS2.

My ideal JoJo game is closer to the Part 5 game for the PS2. More akin to an action game, where each fight is like a boss fight, and you can use the unique powers of each character creatively, possibly interacting with the environment you're placed in.
It would definitely be closer in spirit to how stand users fight each other.

All in for Scary Monsters. Part 7
The World Diego in part seven was funny but Scary Monsters deserves the shine

Aww yiss, loved ASB. I know it wasn't the best of games, but it was pure fanservice bliss. I hope this one turns out nice too, and that we get localization news before I buy the Japanese version this time :p.

Hope it's good this time. Sure I'll look great but CC2 lacks in the good gameplay department in their games.

Edit: CC2 not making? Might be good this time.

This needs to happen. Can we at least (the inferior) Mountain Tim?

lol no. He's gonna be stuck as the commentator forever.

The scans been translated and Diego does indeed have Scary Monsters. But then again the scan also lists Koyasu voicing both Diego & Strohiem. loool.

Says seven playable characters in the demo too, Joseph, Caesar, Jotaro, Josuke (Part 4), Strohiem & Diego. But that counts up to six, so... one more announced soon?

As shown in the Famitsu scan, Bandai Namco is developing this, not Cyber Connect 2.

CC2 is busy with Narutimate Storm 4 and all that.

Almost all Bandai Namco licensed games are initially listed with "Bandai Namco" as the maker, even though pretty much all of them are outsourced. For all we know, this might be BN purposely trying to hide CC2's involvement.

Apparently that's a typo and the original Stroheim is supposed to be voicing him :V
I really hope the seventh character is someone no one expects. Like the Notorious BIG user pre death or Anubis without anyone carrying him. Maybe Dry Foo Fighters.

Looks like I'm going to need to make a Japanese PSN account.

edit: looks like the seventh is Kakyoin.

Oh well I can already confirm I'm not buying it.

Why not?

Are we sure this is a completely new game and not a sequel to ASB? The article mentions "Great Heat Attacks" which was an ASB specific thing.

My god.
This fight made me cringe. I still think it was the most disturbing fight in the series lol.

Scissors make me UGH

Website is up.

From the tiny screenshots it looks like it may indeed be closer to the Naruto games than ASB. Disappointed but it still looks nice and if they can deliver on a story mode I'll be down.

Well, according to some images there's going to be environmental weapons....eh.
But heyyy asian/japanese copies of ASB will be getting the same balance patch that western copies got! Maybe now we can get some patch notes!

I love CC2, but i'm a little boggled as to why they chose one player only.

ASB was a fun, but slightly unbalanced game. You would think they would have worked on what they already built and just fine tuned it, instead they are making what looks like JOJO ultimate ninja storm.

...Still a day one import

Do the Naruto games not have vs? I've only played the demos of the recent ones.

They do indeed have versus mode.

The case in this game might have to do with showing both players' controlled character on-screen at the same time may be difficult.

IIRC, they wanted to make a proper sequel after finding out people like fighting games. I'm assuming this isn't it, but instead a story-mode-focused game to satiate those who got fucked last game.

As sad as I am, I can understand this. It's much easier to create cinematic setpieces with a game like this, but I'm hoping that ASB2 will emerge one day.
