Ehhhh i mean i feel it fits with this part of the series, for different reasons. I assume the lyrics will change a little to fit the circumstances. I mean, this is Dio were talking about.

No? The lyrics are 100% Jonathan and Dio, not Jotaro at all.
Still, I'm guessing lyrics will be different anyways.

I don't know how we managed 3 months without JoJo anime, but these 3 weeks will be the longest ever...
I really hope we get Part 4 anime as early as Winter 2015 =X

The whole part of the song about "fate of the blood" but fortune smiling on their future just seems very out of place for part 1. There was no curse at that point, and his future certianly wasn't bright...

The "curse" begins with Jonathan, "fate of that blood" refers to those with Jonathan's/Joestar blood. Also, it's not about Jonathan's future it refers, it refers to the future that Jonathan creates.
OP1 is all about Hamon though so it doesn't make sense.

That's not a theme in part 1 itself at all though. The idea that his bloodline was cursed started being mentioned in part 2 and only is an actual curse in part 3, which retcons Dio's death.

The thing is that you're interpreting it as a literal curse while I'd say it's more of a general "it is the fate of the Joestar blood to bravely face the adversity they will find in their bizarre adventures while fighting for their future"
There's no way it's a Sono Chi no Sadame remix. The song is Sono Chi no Kioku ~end of the world~ and translates to "The Memories of that Blood." That's not even close to Sono Chi No Sadame. Anyone saying it's a remix is just making stuff up and nobody knows. It could be in the same style as Sono Chi no Sadame, but again, nobody knows until the OP actually happens. It could be a remix for all I know but I highly doubt it.
If this isn't the ED I lose all faith in David Pro

While I love styx, why would they do this?
Also, I'm disappointed at sono chi no sadame remix.
Holy Diver is more relevant to DIO and his stand though.
I would rather have Egypt (The Chains Are On), sorry. Maybe switch to Holy Diver for the last episodes if they are going to use it, but Egypt makes sense for the larger part of this season.

ignore ovas. Start with the 2012 series. The ovas aren't terrible but they lack the energy and quirks of the new series and cut alot of things out
Yup, seconded. The new series is superior in every way.
The English VO for the OVAs is terrible though. Every single person is bad lol.
