Well as mentioned in my edit apparently she herself denied it in the topic. Searched around her twitter/Google and nothing of the sort was said (unless it was an email or something). I'll just chalk it off as "dumb Gamefaqs rumor" for now.

Maybe you should consult actually having a source. Instead of mere posts on Gamefaqs. They say a lot of nonsense everyday on those boards.

Just read it, she's saying Mewtwo will not have an english voice in Smash 4.

Yeah, I don't believe anything that board says.

Thought the site acronym in the title was legit, but it wasn't. You'd think me purposely avoiding GameFAQs for the past year would prevent mistakes like this on my part; my bad!

Oh that board is ridiculous. I get more useful info out of Smashboards honestly. And personally since not even Bowser has his own voice I doubt Mewtwo is going to be a step up either.

Characters like Sonic, Fox, and Falco have updated VA's, while ZSS & Bowser do not.

So I think Mewtwo could go either way.

Or they could go the Marth route.

yeah, totally, I got used to Brawl's Falco, his accent was funny lol

but Fox's Melee VA was godlike, also weird that Zelda never got an update on her voice, pretty much the same Marth route lol
 
GGs, emb! I was definitely sweating against that Shiek, easily one of the hardest characters for me to deal with. I prefer a bit more time to think between hits than that, lol. Let's do more friendlies in the future.

So 5-4 against emb, anyone else from Bracket 2 here and ready to go?

Guys, if you finish a ranbat match, please record the result for you AND your opponent. I see people who write "0" for themselves against someone, but the opponent they lost to has no recorded scores. Let's avoid that.

GGs, Wake! Intense Yoshi matches, loved when we were just jabbing away at each other and they kept cancelling. You're extremely good aiming the eggs, better than me.

Friendlies after were good too, dang I do not like ROB lol.
 
Nice matches Falawful. The dittos were cool, pretty even but you got the most wins there.

R.O.B. matches were fun too, but your Yoshi is much better than your other characters :-P I was so scared of that Oil Panic haha

EDIT: What was the final score? Did we actually get to 5 in the Yoshi dittos?
 
Question: Is there anything to unlock or gain by playing online modes?

I wish you could at least earn coins or something. Is there a Challenge Board square for winning online matches or anything? It feels a little short that you don't even earn a ranking score like MK8, just to give you an idea of progression.

Yeah, Cap and Megaman are my other mains, but I for sure am best with Yoshi. I just picked up Kirby recently so I've been trying to practice with him, and I only went with G&W to see if I could pull that off haha. I would've been bummed if I missed after all that buildup.

You do get coins from online matches.

Oh okay. I was sure we were 4-1 when I did the ROB switch but I guess I miscounted haha. I was very confused as to why you started using random characters actually xD

EDIT: We'll have to do some ROB vs Yoshi friendlies someday! Yoshi's my main but I enjoy using the robot!
