I did pre-order it, and apparently, I wasn't the only one who had gotten screwed. There was another guy that came in to get his Little Mac figurine, and his was sold before he got there. Apparently, the guy who called me about my order didn't know about the street date, and he sold them because the clock on the wall was two hours fast. I wasn't pleased, and after arguing for a good half-hour, the manager came by. I've explained it to them what happened. The idiot got into a lot of trouble (good riddance), and I was reimbursed with a $50 dollar eShop card. There isn't anything they can do, as that was the only Pit figurine they will ever get.
Regardless, I'm not happy with how the Amiibo figurines are being handled here in Canada. And considering I had missed out on the Pit Figma, this would be my only chance of getting a decent figurine of the dorky, heroic angel.

I have 7 already, which is like $100. I'm gonna spend hundreds of dollars on these things. And I really don't wanna make shelf space for 40+ of these. But the allure of the rares keeps grabbing me lol maybe I should just stick with my favorites.
It is bullshit. And I'm going to cancel my pre-orders of Meta Knight & King Dedede, given my experience with this nonsense. (Before you guys ask, I'm going to order them on Play Asia, as I had a better experience with them with no hitches.)
As for Pit, for those who live down south of the boarder, if any of you come across a store that has a spare Pit, could it be possible if you could sell it to me, a la PayPal?

A little. When I was little, I would go to her house and play Donkey Kong Country 2 and Link to the Past with her. She doesn't play too much anymore cause games got a bit too complicated for her.

Just got a confirmation from Play-Asia that they shipped Wii Fit Trainer and Diddy Kong to me, yay!
They took Villager out and placed it on another order with no precise shipping date...I have a fellow GAFer that may get me one tomorrow, if everything works out I'll cancel the Play-Asia order before they simply cancel it themselves. :/

I decided to check out 5 stores tonight out of boredom(Best Buy/TRU/Target/2x Gamestops) to see what they had for wave 2.
2 of them had Zelda (TRU/Gamestop)
2 of them had Luigi (Gamestop)
The others only had wave 1 stuff.
Yay for things being hard to find... thankfully I have Captain Falcon coming and Pit SHOULD ship out soon.

Good luck. I had to fight with them tooth and nail to cancel Marth and Villager after their "in stock" suddenly changed to "not in stock" after I ordered it. Bad policy to not cancel an out of stock order, because people can get it elsewhere.
I'm sure something can be done, like just changing this Amiibo for another one or something like that.
Whatever, I'll give it a shot.
Yeah Marth tends to sell out quick. This is like the 5th time he's been restocked in the last two days though, he'll surely be back again. Just sign up for notifications so you'll know right away when he's back
