That could easily be from an enormous number of people logging in to their new consoles. These little prices would probably claim credit anyway.

I'll ignore them when I can sign into PSN. Seriously, Sony needs to get their act together.
In my opinion it is because people seem more than happy to make threads like this one, glorifying this group by name and likely giving them a good laugh at the reactions. It won't stop until people care less about the group and more about when they can return to playing.
Talking about ddos is fine. Having to constantly harp on about the group is just pointless and giving them what they want.

I can agree to this and I get your message. What they are doing is still wrong though.
What were they saying the last 4 times they did it then? Lots of people want to play video games with their families. Especially ones far apart that couldn't get together.

I don't think its LizardSquad. I checked their a Twitter and there's nothing about any DDoS attacks, but they seem to be having a spat with FinestSquad and said they will resume tomorrow. At the very least, Finest are distracting them. Kudos to them for that, I really appreciate it.

Well PSN was going down on Christmas eve. The reason on their web page was because of planned maintenance. As if I believe they would plan maintenance on Christmas eve. Their servers that we pay for just could not handle the load.
