LIZARD SQUAD is Back. Planning XBL Attack. "Biggest attack yet". [UP: XBL/PSN Down]

One thing is certain, and I say that as a marketing strategist, Sony (and MS but I'm a PlayStation gamer) need to communicate. It's far more effective to talk people through a crisis step by step than just using random stock sentences like they do because their mass of users that don't have any knowledge about ddos, hacking, etc. are basically kept in the dark. It sends the message that you're not in control and that's always bad.

lol, sure

Jesus Christ, these idiots... The interviewer might not be very tech savvy, but he can sure call these dumbasses what they are.

There's no proof this is even them, and I doubt it is. There are many people who adore the concept of LS, and would gladly agree to doing such an interview in their stead.

I don't understand why only PS4 is effected and PS3,vita isn't

That's strange because I have been playing with friends on Live today with no problems, and now, but can't login to PSN.

I've been on for a few hours, but in the last 45 minutes things started dropping. Kicked from Destiny, party chat etc. The bare basics are working, but not much else.

Any links to this interview. I tried the BBC link but I don't think it will let me play because I'm in the US. I'd like to hear these assclowns attempt to justify their fuckery.

22 year old that lives with his parents...jaysas.

I'll be honest. I'm 25, law school student. Most of my friends are college grads and now gainfully employed, or are otherwise in grad school, and most still live with their parents. I don't know how this happened but i don't think it's necessarily only the neck beards of the world lol

I think what he's saying is that if you're a company whose business, among other things, is online games, streaming movies etc... then you better find a way to make it work or the consumers will go elsewhere.

In that respect, yeah it is strictly Sony's problem after all

And I say again you cannot stop or prevent a DDOS attack without completely changing the Internet and the way it functions without regulations and losing your freedom. People also pay for LIVE including me yet it also not only went down but continues to suffer from the attack. It's NOT a Sony problem without admitting it's also a MS problem they aren't immune from being attacked as this has clearly shown. Both Sony and MS have figured out a way to make their services work for us but you can't prevent a DDOS attack i say again YOU CANNOT PREVENT IT do you understand what I'm saying? It's not just Sony and MS it's a EVERYONE operating on the Internet problem. If you can't prevent an attack how the hell can you fault any company when they're the ones being victimized along with millions of consumers? Am I saying they're blameless? No as corporations they are responsible for their services and are accountable to their customers but I say again if they can't prevent an attack from happening what's the solution?

These kids probably didn't know what they were getting into with this interview. This is like a father lecturing them after something bad they've done. They sound pathetic.
