Apparently the shipment did come yesterday because Target/Amazon restocked Pit at 1-3 AM. So mad at them for doing this crap...
Edit: Thanks for the heads up about TRU. I ordered the next shipment. If I happen to get Amazon between then and now, at least I got a boxed rare.
I doubt you are going to find one locally. I have zero luck with 80% of Wave 2.

Make sure you are ordering from Amazon proper. Make sure you are choosing the cheapest shipping option and that you are choosing to ship everything together. Shipping should be half that. Cost me 66 EUR for 4 amiibos shipped. To US anyway.
I paid the 22,24 EUR for the fast shipping because I felt like it. The cheapest was only like 13 EUR for me. I used Amazon proper (referred to as Amazon EU S.a.r.L. (basically European for LLC, iirc.)). I only got one amiibo though, so with the more weight you may face higher charges.

I just got the email saying mine shipped too. Wtf? First they say it was processing and it won't ship until the 1/15 and now it ships?
Well Gaf, it seems I'll have 3 extra Pits now. Once I get them, and can confirm that they're Pit, I'll be glad to sell them here for retail price plus shipping to any Gaffer that can't get one. Or maybe I should trade them later when Wave 3 hits in case I miss some. Hmmmmmm

Yup. Third party seller rarely ship to the US. If you go through Amazon proper, it will ship to the US. Not sure about CA though.
That's clearly a custom made 'defect', same with the Marth one, the only legit DW defect so far is Samus.

Just got a shipment confirmation for Falcon from TRU. 1/5-1/8
Little Mac has been available on gamestop.com at least 3 times for many hours since Christmas. I'd maybe wait it out a little while longer to see if it comes back.

Not sure if it me but the Little Mac page on Gamestop.com doesn't exist anymore.

I was under the impressions all pre-orders for Rosalina were taken, there would be no more pre-orders.
Sure you just need to be there in line.... 4-6 hours... before the store opens... the night before she is supposed to release...
Target has already officially said all online pre-orders are taken and they were within a matter of minutes...

My friend works at Target. He checked yesterday and Samus was active, as we are looking for a one for his boss. GoNintendo posted a rumor today that Fox and Samus were now discontinued at Target. I asked him to check boh today, and yup, both are discontinued in the Target system.

Ok so I found my Pit Amiibo 
. First Gamestop I called, no dice. Second one, they had it. I asked them to hold it for me, they said they really couldn't, I said I'd be there in 10 - 15 minutes. Low and behold they had it.
Problem is, the box is a bit jankey d on the top left. Also, they had their stupid sticker on it, but that came off no problems as you can see. The figure is in PRISTINE condition though. Best Amiibo in my opinion so far! No worries though, I should have another one coming from Bestbuy.com. My order is still in preparing shipment (they haven't cancelled it yet), but I got this one just JUST in case. I really didn't want to buy it, but they only had 1 in stock and I didn't want to drive all over the Bronx (I'm getting tired). Plus, as mentioned, I have another one coming and I really like Pit so I think I'm gonna open this one (as opposed to my other doubles that are still in boxes [Marth / Villager / Wii Fit Trainer / Little Mac])

Ugh, I wanted to get Fox & Samus, but of course I can't have Fox shipped, only pick-up at the store, & there's no TRU near me.
It sounds like he was trying to trade in M-rated games when he's not old enough to technically buy them for himself. I think it's store policy, considering they can't sell M-rated games to kids without a parent's consent or something.

Among others. It would be quite disingenuous to assume that Nintendo would be able to stock more than a dozen or so characters at once, let alone 48 of them. Expect many more to be discontinued as more waves come out. The question remains though, will Nintendo shuffle some old ones back into circulation later when all the characters have been released? Given the popularity of Amiibos, I would think they probably will. They might move on to more "standardized" Amiibo characters though, so the Smash set could very well be a one time deal.
There is an amazon seller from Japan that has Little Mac for 16 bucks+ shipping (It costs me 20), cheapest I have seen it outside of S.R.P.

Hooray! Captain Falcon+Pit more or less secured via this. Now I just need to find a Little Mac at some point and I'll just have Rosalina left to worry about!
I'm gonna get all of them have all of wave 1 & 2. Got all of 3 pre-ordered save rosalina which will be mine one way or another...
