Yeah... There was a handful of people that were very vocal about how the OP had no right to reach out to the wife, and that GAF was using OP's story for entertainment at the family's expense. A junior member happened to find a post in a another thread where the loudest of oppositions admit "I've cheated, but for a good reason". Then the thread turned into insult lobbing and was shut down shortly thereafter. It was an emotional roller coaster watching that thread unfold.
