Hmmm, and now when you mentioned it does look a bit odd without the table. Would it be too difficult to do it with a bit softer edges and keeping the shadows under the paws? I have no idea since every kind of image software totally hate me and the feeling is somewhat mutual.

EDIT: Shadows under the paws won't work I think, on the dark theme the shadows are brighter than the background and it looks weird.
