That still doesn't say much though, at least not in terms of actual numbers.
Ps4 record sales in continental europe and the middle east show that there's lots of growth in the console space.
Look at the european markets alone. Ps4 sold 1 million in germany 6 months before ps2 and 12 months before ps3(if i remember right).
Does the uncharted series have the same pull on playstation owners as the halo series have on Xbox owners?
Uncharted 2 didn't sold half the install base of PS3 at the time of its release numbers. Uncharted 4 won't do it either.

I scanned this whole topic and there are no comparable WW sales line charts for all the consoles. I'm disappointed math/sales-age GAF.
Uncharted is big everywhere. It even sells pretty well in Japan compared to most Western games.

I would guess 11.5-12 million shipped. 10.5-11 million sold through.
Considering PS4 will have up to 35m sold by then why would Uncharted 4 need to sell to half of all PS4 owners?? Halo 5 will perhaps sell ~8-9m at best. The past Uncharteds (2 and 3) both sold 6m+. I don't see how this is outrageous with the amazing growth of PS4 over PS3.
Last we know, they had about 13.5 million worldwide in late October (Link).

In early/mid-2014 I was predicting 20 million at the end of holiday 2014, but I expected their holiday deals to be much more aggressive. That they achieved these sales with such conservative bundles/pricing is actually more impressive.
Previous Uncharted games didn't even come close to a 50% attachment rate.
by the time they launch ps4 will be around 30mill and the x1 will be around 20 mill though.

Repurchased a 360 to play Halo 4. Bought a vita to play Golden Abyss.
13.5m shipped as of end of Sept. This is 18.5m sold
Hard to tell who is serious anymore, but Europe is not a country, and PS4 is selling well basically everywhere.

I was just commenting that there's no possibility of Uncharted 4 selling half of the PS4 install base at its release. That won't happen. And you're right it doesn't need to.
Making the most powerful console without screwing over your consumers and launching at a affordable price, I love it when companies are "playing it safe".

Gap will be much wider than that. Eitherways I still dont think UC will outsell Halo but then again I did not think PS4 will sell at such a beastly rate so I may be proved wrong. UC will outsell Gears handily this time though. TLOU2 will most likely outsell UC4 and become the definitive TPS game of this gen.

Bloodborne will sell extremely well, it has quite the following with the PC players as well. It might be a sleeper system seller, let's see.
Nissan make very good quality cars, that I'm not interested in. That's still holding the Wii-U back, it has a lot of Nintendo IP and a lot of 1st party games, but the third party is .. just not there. Today I played through Murdered: Soul Suspect, there's nothing like that in Nintendos library. It's not an awesome game although I did like it, it's the kind of thing I want to play. So far there's Bayonetta 2 on the 'would' list and nothing else for me.

I'm not bashing Nintendo, I'm "bashing" the Wii. The two consoles were sold on two completely different terms and everyone I knew had their Wiis in a closet a year after owning it. Obviously the Nintendo faithful are going to enjoy it, but that wasn't the majority of the consumer base.
Nothing I'm saying is controversial btw, yet I was quoted three times already.

My personal guess is the PS4 will be at 34 million sold through and 35 million shipped by the end of 2015.

Lol no. The gap has increased and will only continue to increase. The rate of increase will be determined by Xbox US and UK performance but it is inevitable that there will always be an increase in the gap for the rest of this generation. The war is over.
